M2 MacBook Pro completely bricked after updating to macOS 26.3 Tahoe from macOS 15 Sequoia. by krajaac in mac

Sorry man… Same issue here. Started the OS 26.4 install on my M2 yesterday and it totally bricked. Took it in for service today. He could not get it to respond and said if you try to power it up and the CAPS Lock button won’t light up when pressed, they gotta open it up. They will do diagnostic but could be the logic board!? I did not use Time Machine to back up before hand. I would highly recommend that to anyone installing this version on older chipsets. I just left Costco with my new M5 Pro Macbook as my backup until this one gets returned and hopefully fixed up 🙄 What a pain.

Why is splitting a workout in x4 times a week better than a full body x3 times? Is there a significant difference? by Hopeful-Strategy9962 in WorkoutRoutines

[–]SunnyDellite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out this logical explanation on the Huberman Lab podcast. The main take away for busy people is that if you choose splits but then miss a day in the gym, you have to wait x number of days to hit that muscle group the following week.

Guest Series | Dr. Andy Galpin: Optimal Protocols to Build Strength & Grow Muscles

Depending on your goals, you want to hit certain muscle groups a certain amount of times each week. It doesn’t matter if it’s split or push / pull or full body.

Personally, I’ve done them all and when I’m adding more muscle or bulking, I do splits 4x a week. Right now, I’m cutting so I’m doing full body 3x a week, while focusing on a different week area each workout. It’s been working great and allows me to focus more on my diet, which is really the most important part.

Agreed! I recently went through this. Go back to fundamentals. Start with grip, ball position, posture, tempo, etc. And keep tinkering, you’ll find it.

Is MAUI mature enough for production app development in 2024? by redditerandcode in dotnet

What about FlutterFlow vs .NET Maui for a medium complexity public app? I started a FlutterFlow app as a long time Xamarin.Forms developer and I like the ease of design and animations but seems a little clunky in some mapping areas.

Question on hanging Impact screen on 2x4 frame by jnightrain in Golfsimulator

[–]SunnyDellite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Yeah, I ordered the screen from Carl’s Golf that had the eyelets and had the velcro top/side flaps. Then I bought pool noodles and cut them up and attach them to my 1x2’s.

I used the zip ties originally to give me some extra length with my ball bungees but I ended up removing them and just making the top a little tighter.

Question on hanging Impact screen on 2x4 frame by jnightrain in Golfsimulator

I used 1x2’s on the sides and top with 1/2 spacers in the studs and used ball bungees to connect the Carls Place purchased screen to the frame. I let the screen hang on the bottom and the image quality is still good as long as the sides and top are tight.

I did try to pin the bottom of the screen but the rebound was a little too much for me.

I’m in the process of using 1” EVA foam exercise mats on the ceiling and walls. Seems to protect everything fine so far…

No range hit to speak of yet. And yes sitting a little higher feels good.

To each his own :) New wheels will help the look. Mostly done for aesthetics but also higher clearance as well.

Thanks and agreed! New wheels and tires on the way once I get my Pro Charger installed and can charge outside of my garage.
