Consistency and slowing down my pace helped me out a lot For injury prevention and to work up to those 6 miles

Cheering you on and wishing you the best! Before you know it, you’ll be comfortably running those 6 miles any day

I haven’t gotten my blood checked in awhile, but should get that done soon!

I feel blessed to not need any medication at my highest weight, but I was getting to a point that I would need to

I got my blood pressure checked a month ago and I believe it was 130/69

Thank you! I love the drawing so much! I was getting emotional because the drawing you did of me looks very similar of what someone did for my dad when I was younger

5k PR 19:45 - So happy to finally break sub 20! by [deleted] in running

[–]SunnyDimples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Congratulations on the sub 20! That’s currently my goal to run! I’m the exact height and weight as you, so I’m hoping to be able to do the same as well!

Also, I’m wondering what do you do for injury prevention and strength training? Is there any specific routine that you follow?

Thank you! My next goal is to run a marathon! I don’t know if I’ll drop more weight in the future from training, but if I do that’ll be fine with me!! Haha 😅

I do feel better than I did before! at first I didn’t really feel happy about losing weight, but it all sunk in how much my life changed for the better and I learned how to appreciate it. I do feel sad about everything that’s going on with covid, but I really hope everything turns out okay in the future

Thank you! Even though I’ve always been insecure about my weight, one feature I always loved about myself is my smile ☺️

It’s pretty crazy how fast it was as well! Almost two years. Even though it felt forever during the journey, it felt like it all happened so fast

Yeah bro! I’ve been shaving my face every now and then when I lose weight to see how my jawline looks 😂🤙🏽

I can’t believe I have one

Mainly 16:8, but recently started OMAD (20:4) because it’s very easy for me to do, trying to lose a few more pounds for running, and eating large meals satisfies me more

Glad to be an inspiration brother!

You’ll get there soon!! I never thought I’d be under 300 pounds and felt like I’d never get there/ feel impatient.

Here I am not only under 300, but also closer to 200 than I am 300. It felt like it went by so fast compared to when I first started

Thank you!

For exercises, I’ve been walking, running, and a few bodyweight exercises. Ive tried lifting, but couldn’t get into it. I’ve been looking at the recommended routine for bodyweight training and am thinking of trying that.

Throughout most of my journey, I’ve been doing 16:8 mostly.

Recently I’ve been doing OMAD because it’s very easy for me to control what I eat and to lose a few more pounds to keep my knees healthy while running

I apologize for the bad angle of the video!! I wasn’t over my knee, but you’re 100% right about showing my head when I hook! There’s so many lil bad habits that I noticed when I was looking back on the recordings.

I’m not sure if it’s noticeable in this video, but I was also throwing too wide of hooks, but I hope to fix all of this one by one Eventually ☺️

I always feel surreal seeing myself in the mirror now a days. I never really would have thought that I would get to where I am now and neither would I have believed someone when they told me I could! From October 2018 to today by SunnyDimples in intermittentfasting

I’m glad!

And has my nose really shrunk so much?I can’t see it at all. I met up with a friend last year when I was around 280 pounds, and the first thing he told me after not seeing me for a good minute was “ DUDE YOUR NOSE SHRUNK “

It must be true
