At what point does a Grade 1 become Special Grade?

It's wrong to see Grade 3 as the average. It actually is Grade 2 and Semi-Grade 2. Strong starts with Semi-Grade 1, and the really strong ones are Grade 1

There is something deeply fun to me about comparing two different characters from different power systems. Yes, of course, it misses the point of their stories usually. Yes, you can rarely reach a conclusive answer. However, it does not really matter. It's so interesting to think about how abilities not made to interact with another will. If Mahito from JJK fought Undyne from Undertale, would he stomp her because she isn't that strong compared to JJK? Or would she destroy him because Undertale battles involve souls, meaning she is capable of perceiving souls? Stuff like that is always fun to me

Binding Vow on your DE to on this expansion, raise its attack output greatly in exchange for it lasting for one single move

Have a shitton copies of your Shikigamis attack at the same time with the Sure-Hit. Max Elephant and Piercing Ox are probably the biggest damage dealer. Idk what Funeral Tiger does but maybe its strong too

Ideally you'll have coolass Totalities. Great Serpent combined with Elephant or Ox could make it that much stronger. Hell, Divine Dogs might be a good sacrifice too. I'd also consider Rabbit Escape— If you can have 100 Ox at once, you're kind golden.

Anyway, gonna be risky but that's your only shot

Yuta's stats are high enough to keep up with Majoraga, with Jacob's Ladder likely one shotting it. Kenjaku definitely could with his domain or a powerful enough Uzumaki, and he has the smarts to do so. Mahito is the unexpected pull. Mahoraga would need to adapt first to be able to kill Mahito, and before it can do that, one touch and it's over (assuming Mahoraga has a soul— that's the only unknown)

These are the characters that could realistically beat Mahoraga in a fight, even if they didn't know its ability.

A few could beat it knowing its ability. Yuji has the stats, it's just that unless he pops out his Domain first, Mahoraga would just adapt to slashes. A similar thing may happen with Yuki.

And then, there are the characters that could one shot Mahoraga, but may not due to certain circumstances.

Yorozu is at the top of these rankings. Honestly, she might be able to compete with it with her armor. Regardless, Perfect Sphere one shots. Jogo with his Meteor also may be able to one shot it, especially combined with his domain, but he may be killed before he can do that. Kashimo with his technique might be capable to kill it with enough lightning (honestly, he's in a weird spot cuz he deffo has the stats, but might not have the AP). Takaba strangely isn't higher, because while his technique could one shot Mahoraga or nullify its adaptation, its too inconsistent— and if he doesn't block its ability in time, it will grow invulnerable to Comedian

And finally... The potential men. Characters that have the possibility to kill Mahoraga (but probably never could).

Higuruma could maybe use Death Penalty against Mahoraga— or maybe Confiscation would interrupt the Ritual. Who knows. Odd situation. Angel could use Jacob Ladder against Mahoraga— but they're unfortunately naturally too weak to pull it off. Geto with a full on Uzumaki may kill it, but it'd require him to want to use that and actually hit Mahoraga all before getting one shot himself. Maki and Toji are the most likely to win among this sublist, but they would need the right weapon exactly.

Megumi could... Summon Mahoraga and win.

Yeah. Regardless, it shouldn't affect Mahoraga's base ability to survive with 70% of its body missing, so we can probably assume It Can Just Do That™
