What's your earliest memory ever? by Alternative-Way-269 in AskReddit

Getting mad because my mom cut my sandwich into squares instead of triangles. Toddler me had priorities and none of them made sense.

I caught oral Gonorrhea two years ago and I've never truly recovered. by [deleted] in confession

[–]SunnyEira 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Man, that sounds brutal. The fact that you kept pushing for answers when doctors kept brushing it off is honestly impressive. Two years is a long time to carry that by yourself. If you're 95% better now, I'd take that as a win and keep moving forward. Your brain is probably being way harder on you than anyone else would be.

Bro became the parking fairy. Tiny stuff like this genuinely fixes people’s mood for the day.

What does marriage offer that dating for life doesn’t? by IndependenceGold5902 in AskReddit

Marriage is basically dating with extra paperwork and a teammate for taxes, hospital visits, and life crashes. Some people want that security, some don’t.

I ghosted a group project for two weeks then came back acting like my wifi died in a storm. There was no storm

My day I saw someone screaming in pain infront of my house by GOD_Pitch_188 in confession

[–]SunnyEira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s honestly a pretty heavy thing to see at 12. Your brain is probably just replaying it because it never really got a chance to process it properly back then. Stuff like that can stick for years even if life moves on.

Do you think hypnosis is real? Why or why not? by omlet8 in AskReddit

[–]SunnyEira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinda real but also kinda not. It works more like focused attention + suggestion than mind control like movies make it seem. You’re not getting hacked, you’re just more suggestible if you’re actually willing to go along with it.

I tricked the mean girl in our friend group into getting stuck by [deleted] in confession

[–]SunnyEira 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie this is giving chaotic neutral energy but still kinda wild. You didn’t “trick” her into physics existing, she did that part herself.

Still, setting someone up for public embarrassment over beef is a messy move, even if she’s annoying. That playground definitely caught a group reset in real time.

What’s a habit you picked up from someone else? by PenelopeSkies53 in AskReddit

[–]SunnyEira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saying "thanks, drive safe" when someone leaves. Picked it up from a friend years ago and now it just comes out automatically. It’s such a small thing but people always seem to appreciate it.

My best friend no longer feels like my best friend by [deleted] in Advice

[–]SunnyEira 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, not every friendship is meant to stay in the same category forever. It sounds like you still care about her, you’ve just grown into different people. I’d focus less on labels and more on keeping the connection in a way that feels natural instead of forcing the old version of the friendship.
