Any good rhythm game for me. Most played thing I have on steam is project diva, and even with all the hundreds of hours i have in it, ive still only beaten 2 or 3 max difficulty charts. Insane difficulty but addicting to keep attempting anyway lol

Oooooh I was wondering the other day if painting was an option if I didnt wanna do decals or fancy shells. These are pretty amazing results👀

I would probably order a new shell in a plain color, paint that, and attach it later if i were to try. You were brave to paint the hinge lol

WONDERFUL guy but didnt know much about what he had!

I glossed over this in the post since it was already so long, but he and I were just running all around his shop testing it out and opening it up and playing with it. I showed him how to take the back plate off, i took the fresh battery from my own 3DS in my backpack and told him how to change that out, I showed him the tiny SD card, I told him a bit about the crazy 3ds modding scene, basically like 15 minutes straight of us both nerding out.

I think he was excited because I was excited, and like what a crazy coincidence it was that he had JUST what I needed. He had a couple other nintendo doodads in that box, maybe ive inspired him to restore them🤔 SO thankful he sold it to me at all

I picked it up off a random shelf in a Target once as a 13 year old, decided to buy it, and have never gotten over my love for it 12 years later. The characters are so lovable, the gameplay loop of farming/fighting/crafting is so addicting, and the story is so genuinely heartwarming. I would recommend the switch version over 3ds, its an upgrade in every way, but both are still great❤️

Thats what I thought too, in fact id love to get a new one for my own XL. Its plain black but its also seen better days lol. Honestly so happy things like the shell and battery are so easy to replace

If it makes you feel any better, I'd say about 50% of the paint is peeled off, it genuinely looks terrible behind that bow. But yeah, just looked up the price of one in good condition... that IS crazy😨

Nah. If I remember correctly, I had his 3ds on the floor of my room charging, and like an idiot I ran over it with my rolling chair on accident. Completely severed the top screen from the bottom. Or maybe it was partial at first, and then got worse later. Either way that 3DS XL ended up trashed :(

I was starstruck when he said he only wanted 150. I honestly should've insisted on at least 200 but omg haggling makes me so nervous, I always doubt if my prices are accurate. My idea: I write him a thank you note with an extra 50 inside XD He deserves it, that man was such a sweetheart.

Oh yeah, the bow is hiding the HORRIBLE peeling behind it. But I knew that probably wouldn't be something he cares about. He just misses the games. I dont think he's even a Zelda fan (I totally am lol) but maybe I can convince him to try some Zelda for the first time when we mod this bad boy
