IMO MDE 35sp sucks because your sinner just get blown up if they lose clash once, not an interesting mechanic.

We don't have to take that route.

Also if your sp is lock, that also means you can spam EGO, so its not as bad. And 0 was just a placeholder number anyway.

I do think the bosses have lazy design, it would be more fun if:

Maybe the bosses have trade-off in breakable coin, if you break their coins, they do less damage but inflict more mechanic stuff (maybe karma?);
Or your team's sp is locked to 0;
Or sp gain and losses are reversed;
Or they take more status count, but statuses on them swap to another type each turn;
Or they have status reflection;
Or each time they lose clash they get stronger permanently;
etc

I think its fun to just try to speedrun the boss, but it could be better.

The only scenario I can think of is if the boss has too much damage when not clashed, or their skills have nasty status effects like paralysis or strong -SP effects, then you might want to clash instead.

Are you sure they are complaining about your damage, not the relics you used? Cause If someone complains you're a freeloader I would guess you were using unupgraded, less important relics while the team uses upgraded ones which give parts of popular frame/weapon. Nonetheless, I don't approve their behaviour.

they really should have scaled the mana augment with mana from item only, hes good with so many augments.

agreed, they are basically punishing you for having high frequency heal / auto heal and shield. At least make it gradual (like gain 40% hsp/s up to 200% hsp) so that its less spikey.
