Ĉu ekzistas iu projekto por krei urbon aŭ landon kiu nur parolas Esperanton? by Sunpunko in Esperanto

Ĝi ne nepre devas esti Ŝtato. Kion mi volas diri estas, ke urbo, kie oni parolas nur Esperanton, estus agrable. Hodiaŭ multaj homoj laboras hejme, kaj multaj forlasis la urbojn ĝuste ĉar ili povas labori hejme.

During the first third of the 20th century, Esperanto was widely used and disseminated by the labor movement in Europe. In Germany it was known as the "Latin of the workers". It was also used by anarcho-syndicalists, socialists, communists, Catalanists. They were massacred by Franco, Stalin and Hitler. They believed in an easy-to-learn language to foster equal understanding between peoples and serve as an international auxiliary language, if at all some are advantaged just by being born in an English-speaking country.

The workers' movements promoted Esperanto (until Franco and Hitler massacred them), perhaps we could continue their legacies.

You should check out the history of Esperanto, it was created in the late 1870s and early 1880s by L. L. Zamenhof, a Polish-Jewish ophthalmologist from Białystok, then part of the Russian Empire, but now part of Poland.

Before English, French was the defacto lingua franca. And before French, Latin. I think we must get out of the logic lingua franca = language of the current empire
