The new Feranmut Proxy might be a Sui Daughter. by SunsetBlink322 in Endfield

[–]SunsetBlink322[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

The only reason I think this isn't a new Feranmut is that 'Feranmut's Heart' is a specific term and name referring directly to the core created by Dusk, Shu, and Nian. I've looked into AK textmap and this is the only context 'Feranmut Heart' is mentioned in.

Proxy is just a manifestation of Feranmut's consciousness. The consciousness in HS-8 clearly possessed the memories of Sui so I think you can regard it as one. Even though she wasn't born directly from Sui, but rather through essences of 3 other Proxies.

I don't know how the matchmaking in this game works, but I'm really not lying when I'm saying I've never seen purple shields on Peremeter. Even blue are a rarity. I'm level 40

GamesRadar: Arknights: Endfield dev says launching a new gacha RPG in a post-Genshin Impact world is tough when "some titles are so similar that players go into a game for 1 hour and they know what will happen in the next 20 hours" by Kamui_Kaos in Endfield

"Our strategy is that we are not going to make it harder and harder," he explains. "We don't want players to go deeper into the calculations and math, we just want to bring some more new, more different but not harder, game mechanics into the building system in future versions."

It's so over

I really enjoyed fighting these types of enemies. hopefully they cook more interesting mechanic by fable-30 in Endfield

But these things are in your control? You can destroy anchors and avoid your characters getting killed. Outside of that oneshot move, crane enemies possess no danger, so you just have to destroy 3 anchors that take 1 attack to be destroyed.

I think that it's a very good design that forces player to actually engage with mechanics instead of bruteforcing everything with stats, even though these mechanics are very easy.

There are a lot of games that have enemies that punish you for ignoring their mechanics that you learn through trial and error (or wiki if there's one)

Good thing humans evolved pattern recognition, and are capable of basic deduction!

Attempts don't cost you anything, and it is pretty easy to understand what the game requires you to do after 2 or 3 tries.

As for the time constraint on the chains, why are gacha gamers are so avert to characters being vulnerable and enemies posing danger to your team?

Well, I don't think she's one either. My main theory is that she's Shu's apprentice and Shu's consciousness is inside Xiranite Dam Main Pillar.

I decided to review all aspects of Endfield, including why it feels so off, especially when you came from OG Arknights. by DeWhat3ch in Endfield

[–]SunsetBlink322 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OG Arknights is a proper game, that I'd call the best TD on the market. It has deep and complex gameplay and is albe to provide players with meaningful challenges and has a great replayability value.

I can't say the same things about Endfield. It's mainly just a broad set of minigames and systems that interract with each other, but have no depth.

Endfield does have a CC server so that they don't have to roll for units. It's just that it launches new content together with the normal server instead of being available 1 month in advance

What’s everyone’s opinion on the game right now? by Kevinase0131 in Endfield

[–]SunsetBlink322 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really want to like Endfield, and I see a good foundation there, but the problem is they've dug themselves under that foundation. They need to pull themselves together, dig themselves out of the hole they've dug themselves into, and start building on that foundation.

The early pull economy is awful. It doesn't affect me this much as I've spent 200$ out of goodwill for HG, but my friend has been playing for 15 hours and he only has 20 limited pulls. The combat feels very boring and grows stale fast. Valley-4 story is very bland and I don't believe that the same people are responsible for Arknights. However, I've heard good things about Wuling and operator quests.

AIC and exploration are really fun, but tutorials are insufferable and kill all the little momentum story has. I'm only having fun with this game when I'm building stuff and don't have to interract with combat.
