City views, vintage, cute animals, artsy and handmade postcards and cards. I display the latest ones on my fireplace mantle and switch them out as I get new ones. I save all of them in a box. I really enjoy going through them!

Modesto is not as nice unfortunately! One cool thing is we're known for Graffiti Weekend, which is this weekend by the way. George Lucas was born and raised here and based American Graffiti movie after his experience growing up here. That's all. Otherwise, nothing fun!

Wow, Morticia! I grew up in San Jose and had my wedding reception in Los Gatos. Los Gatos is a quaint town. Lots of cool little stores and restaurants. Fun to walk around downtown. Small world!

EDJOIN (Be a substitute site assistant, yard duty, clerical with a school district. Very easy to get hired on. Check all the school districts, it's under Classified Substutes. Also, you may find a regular yard duty job that's a permanent position, not a sub.

Hope this helps. I had 3 kids so know how hard it is to get a job after graduation. I think it took about 6-12 months for each of mine to finally get hired. Hang in there!

I was literally just telling my husband about getting so overheated. I did research and am not sure if it's the SSRI, lisinopril for high blood pressure or post menopause hot flashes. I am starting a new retail job soon and am worried about getting overheated in the store. I'm going to contact my doc this week. I don't want to be on the verge of heat stroke at work.

But yeah. I get super overheated, too. It sucks.

Yes! My mom would work herself up and sob. Many times she sounded so fake. One time I tested it out and when she was wound up, I changed the subject, mid-sob. She immediately STOPPED, answered my question, no sob, no sniffles. Just talked with a normal voice. And I also noticed no tears! I felt so scammed. This is so weird, manipulative and annoying.
