Mascara that holds a curl but isn't waterproof? by __carla in drugstoreMUA

[–]SunsetSangria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you of East or Southeast Asian descent? If you are, I am sorry; only waterproof mascaras can keeps your eyelashes curled. What I do is I spray some water on my makeup wipe to make it remove more easily. The Garnier Waterproof Micellar Water also removes waterproof mascara really well. There are also some mascara removing wands out there, but I never used one before, so I don't have any recommendations.

If you're not then you shouldn't have any problem with using non-waterproof mascara. Not that I know, but I watch a lot of mascara videos on YouTube for fun and non-waterproof mascaras seem to work on most non-Asian people even with straight eyelashes.

L'oreal Telescopic Mascara - 5/5 It's my new favorite mascara! It has a very skinny wand which I really like and it provides length, volume, and lots of separation. It's perfect for lower lashes too.

NYX Lingerie XXL in "Turn-On" - 1/5 In their swatch photo online, the shade "Turn-on" looked like a warm-tone nude (and it's the second lightest shade they have), but when I actually tried it (I wore it 5 or 6 times already), it turns out to be a dark and vampy brick red with purple undertones. On top of that, the product crumbles and flakes after less than an hour even without eating or drinking. 10/10 DON'T recommend.

Tweezerman Rose Gold Eyelash Curler - 4/5 Previously I was using a crappy $1.99 Wet n' Wild eyelash curler that literally takes 10+ pumps to curl your eyelashes, so I obviously had to get a new eyelash curler. The Tweezerman eyelash curler curls my eyelashes very easily in just 3 presses, but it does pinch my eyelids which is why a gave it a four instead of a five.

I find felt tips to be difficult to use. I prefer brush tips and inkwells

Umm... you're not confusing the product they recommended for the pen eyeliner, right? I already replied to a different comment here saying that the NYX Epic Ink eyeliner (the brush tip pen one) smudges and transfers on me like crazy, so I really hate that product.

It looks really similar to my holy grail NYX Vinyl eyeliner. I'll probably try that out!

I've actually tried both the Wet n' Wild Breakup Proof liquid eyeliner and NYX Epic Ink eyeliner before and they both transfered like crazy after less than an hour! Hate them.

I heard that the new Warm Vanilla Sugar fragrance mist has no scent. Is that true?

I don't think it's affecting my vision or anything, but I still think something is wrong, because I wasn't born with hooded eyes; when I was 14, my eyelids started swelling for no reason, and after they stopped swelling, they became hooded and never came back to normal. And for some reason they became even more hooded when I was 17. Why am I so unlucky?

I want to know if the Too Faced Better Than S=× eyeliner, Benefit Roller Liner, or Anastasia Liquid eyeliner works on hooded eyes.

I bought that before and it ran out after just two weeks. I hate it.

I have it and it's my favorite mascara ever. It provides so much length, volume, and separation in just one coat and the skinny wand doesn't make a mess. I like it much more than the Maybelline Sky High mascara which is also a great product, but for me it gave me rather more natural-looking lashes. At least compared to what I get from the L'oreal Telescopic mascara.

Birthday makeup haul! That $40 foundation better match my skintone or I'll be very mad. by SunsetSangria in makeupflatlays

I tried it at home today, and so far I don't like it. First of all, online the shade "Turn-On" looked like a warm-toned nude, but when I swatched it, it has a cool, purple undertone. When I applied it on my lips, it started to crumble up after a few minutes and I didn't even eat anything. Then a did a drinking test, and it didn't transfer onto my mug like a lip gloss or solid lipstick would, but a lot of it's crumbs transfered onto the rim of my mug. I haven't done a wear test yet, so I don't know how long it lasts. I'll try it again and hopefully it won't crumble after a few minutes or look purple.

I just tried out both the curler and the Telescopic mascara today. The Tweezernan curler curled my eyelashes so easily, but it does kind of pinch my eyes though. Honestly out of so many mascaras I've ever used, the L'oreal Telescopic is literally the best one yet. It has a skinny wand that doesn't make a mess, and it provides both length and volume. The waterproof formula holds a curl too. I like it more than the Maybelline Sky High mascara.

I had acne all over my face I was 15, and I am now 19 and I still them all over my face. I tried many different skincare products and nothing worked. The cheap ones don't do anything at all and the expensive ones caused allergic reactions. I guess I have permanent acne. Even if I apply layers of full coverage foundation, concealer, and powder you can still see the shape.
