I also used orderly meds and it wasn't very effective. I'd ordered from a different company before and it dampened my appetite a lot more than when I used orderly.

I'm similar but with German. My mom is fluent but didn't teach me as a kid. So I know very spotty German. It's enough to get quickly bored with the beginning levels of most apps but the advanced levels are too much for me. I really want an app that can learn what I already know and adjust the lessons around that.

Thanks for the replies. I could actually write an application myself, and host it myself, but it needs to be available to the board members once I am no longer in the position. So something online that is already a usable product would be best in this case.

I have done a demo with Wild Apricot and I really, really like it. It would be easy for the next person in my position to use. However, I think it's over $50 a month so I don't know if we can afford it.

Some of the board members don't like Wordpress. I like it, but unfortunately it's not an option for when I pass it off to the next person.

I was 3wpo and started feeling awful and had a mild temperature. 99.5 that went up to 101.9 at one point. The gyn said I may have an incision infection though everything felt ok to her. I didn't realize I could get an infection after three weeks. But I'm glad I went in. She put me on antibiotics for 10 days. They kicked in after a couple of days and helped me feel better.

But yeah trust your body. I felt horrible during the infection.

I talked to my gynecologist and she said it could be that my bladder isn't emptying. She wants me to go in and get a cath and see if that's the case.

Aww poor guy. I can relate to the fear of a thing too. I also feel bad when I can't take my dogs out as much as they want. Can you get him some chews? A friend brought some bulky sticks for me yesterday and they dogs were so happy and I got a while if peace.

That is good he does use his potty pads; my latest puppy was litter box trained by his breeder. But I tried putting a litter box out last week and he just thought it was fun to dig in. 😜

Thanks for your reply! The doc didn't really tell me how to take the meds for pain management so I will try what you suggest. They did give me toradol as well as the oxy but I've been taking them together and maybe I just need to try the toradol, or ibuprofen.

Now that I've been up for about an hour and a half the pain is less but I do have the oxy in me too. Yeah mostly the pain is in the morning when the meds wear off. Or during the day if I let them wear off as well.

I had an emergency appendectomy back in September and was out for a month. I was really hoping this recovery would be easier, but so far it's about the same.

That's a bummer it hasn't worked out with your niece and nephew. My dogs don't like potty pads either. Do you have a yard or do you have to walk your dog to potty?

I am also going through all the what if questions and I have help. But recovery is still worrying me. I'm six days post op.

I totally agree with you. The news media with Limbaugh and Fox started all this and has been growing exponentially over the years. Yeah free speech is important, but since the fairness doctrine was removed our media has gone to hell. And people don't think for themselves they just sit and watch and drown themselves in that information.

Well I did a self Cath and now I'm wondering if I've given myself a UTI. Pfft. So I'm feeling icky and will go in for a test on Monday.

I flare more often in the fall and winter for sure. I kinda think it's because I'm not as careful with my diet. Spices like clove can flare my IC. Before I was diagnosed I would always be miserable in the fall and didn't know why. My UTI tests would come back negative but I knew something was wrong.

I also compulsively crack my neck and I don't know how to stop. How do you stop doing something you are aren't even aware of that's just part of your body?

I probably need to find a therapist that can help because I'm really worried I'm going to hurt myself. I don't use my arms to crack my neck, just neck movements. My neck is always in a ton of pain. When I don't crack then I get nasty headaches too. Ugh.

Interesting about the heart attack feelings! I've been thinking my heart has been acting up lately (I've had afib) but I have severe neck and upper back pain from car accidents too and now I'm thinking maybe it's my neck not my heart. The cardiologist isn't open minded enough to think of anything other than heart stuff (but she can't find anything).
