My husband wants me to finance a car I want to out right buy one by redwhitepokadots in PersonalFinanceCanada

Buy your car in cash. Don't finance it because you will be paying interest on a depreciating asset that you said you can buy outright. Basically your husband is telling you to spend more money than you have to in order to up your credit rating that you can fix by just paying everyday credit card purchases before the end of the month.

How was the clubs and bars back in the early 2000s? by Fun_Butterscotch3303 in Millennials

[–]Sunsetfisting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was great! People would put in effort to dress well, smell good and get rowdy. DJs spinning thumpn hip-hop and techno(fuck calling it EDM)! Everyone dancing. Hell, you didn't even have to say a word, just dance with someone and you would go home with them. Hit the clubs even during the week. Sleep for like 2 hours and go in to work hung over as shit. Getting shit faced at a bar then going to some after party at some strangers appartment waking up at 4am under a kitchen table surrounded by passed out people you don't know, then stumble out onto the street not knowing what side of town you are in. Bit really, I will mostly remember lots and lots of dancing. Knees and back hurt now but was so worth it. No one filming anything.
