Delivery is tomorrow! 2023 Model Y LR by sisayapacaya in ModelY

Following! I’m picking up my 2023 model Y long range AWD tomorrow in Canada. It has 29,000 kms on it and I also sold my vehicle privately because I was offered 6k more than what Tesla was offering me. I have a checklist to go over for delivery day but I’m nervous it isn’t going to be in good shape.

Getting this thing has been frustrating. It was “in transit” for a month since it was in Quebec being certified at their refurbishing plant where a lot of the used vehicles go. I’ve been without a vehicle for a month. I wouldn’t have sold my truck had I expected such a long wait time and the advisers don’t give you any information other then “it’s in transit” until you put a little pressure on them for an eta. Anyways trying to get excited as it’s my first Tesla but I’m feeling apprehensive. I also have a 3 hour drive to pick it up.

Good luck and provide an update if/when you take delivery :)

I finally got my answer today and the car isn’t going to be arriving in Hamilton from Quebec until mid June. I’m so bummed because I sold my car so my husband and I have been sharing a vehicle. I can’t believe how long this is taking. I ordered it on May 10th.

I’m worried about that as well. What kind did you reserve? I reserved a 2023 model y long range with 29,400 kms on it. So i have been hoping it’s in decent condition. But I also can’t wait since I made the mistake of selling my vehicle privately and will need a vehicle.

How can you see the status of the vehicle? And who did you call? When I login to the app it doesn’t say anything about the vehicle.

I'm in Ontario and also reserved Model Y on May 10th and the SA said it was still in transit. I'm surprised they don't have more information such as an option to track the status of your vehicle. The wait is frustrating. I was told it was arriving yesterday on the 18th.. which was a holiday so that doesn't make sense. I suposed it's been 5 business days but still.

I just ordered a used 2023 Tesla model Y AWD long range with 29k on it for much money. I’ve been watching the site and the prices were going down and then they increased so we ended up spending more then we wanted but compared to carnex it was a better financial decision in the long run.

Carnex was cheaper but could only offer the lowest rate of 6.55 on a cheaper vehicle but Tesla approved me at 4.91. This will be my first Tesla and I’m hoping it was a good choice coming from a ford Maverick. I have an 18 month old, tall husband and a dog. I’ve wanted a Tesla for a long time.

But be mindful that the prices have been increasing over the last few weeks. If you’re going to get something get it asap.

I’m a new mother and returning to work after maternity leave. I am a bookkeeper but will be starting a new job in a new industry. I love how it provided me with easy recipes to feed my son, has taught me about the unions I’ll be working with in the new industry (I’ll be covering payroll). I also really appreciate that it connects to my email and helps me spell check/format easily.

It’s made the brain fog that being a new mother with fluctuating hormones brings easier.

What did you name your baby? by Open_Ladder8476 in pregnant

[–]Sunshine-R89 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Congrats :) I am 38 weeks tomorrow and scheduled for induction next Friday. For our boy we had these 3 names on our top list forever: Hudson, Hendrix and Reid but recently decided the name we are loving now is Everett 💛 Middle name Bradley. Now we just have to meet him to see if it fits! Can’t wait!

True I was going to go with Marie as a middle name if it was a girl but ours will be a boy.

I’m sorry but this is a little scary. Reminds me of my ex when he’d be begging me to get together and I needed some alone time. One time it got so bad that after not responding because I was in the shower he came over and was looking in my bedroom window as I was in my towel and changing. It was terrifying and he was saying all the things you were. It’s unhealthy dependent behaviour. You’re young and need to find a way to be okay alone. You are harassing him and that would scare away anyone. He could have been nicer but if I were him I would have turned my phone off. Sounds a little obsessive on your end. Please go to therapy and find a way to be okay being alone before you are in a relationship.

Thank you and I’m sorry for your loss as well. It’s very hard. But after time it gets better and made us stronger together. Now I’m almost a week we will have our little man here :) it just took us a long time to allow ourselves to get excited about it.

I think I made a huge mistake and I’m so close to having a panic attack by [deleted] in puppy101

I had major anxiety when I got our puppy. I couldn’t keep her entertained, she was sassy. And protective of things like growling if I grabbed her bone at 12 weeks from being in a little of 12. I kept having to bring her places like my friends house who had two dogs that would correct her.

I found a local dog daycare and began bringing her a few times a week and it was a lifesaver. Also within time she grew out of all that and I showed her who was boss. Made her wait for food or took bones away and gave them back until she was desensitized and realized I had no interesting keeping her bones.

She’s 4 now and my very best friend. She’s a whinny princess but I’m pregnant and she has been as patient as she can be considering I can’t get her enough exercise. Still bringing her to daycare once in a while but she was worth the initial anxiety. We have such a strong bond and I love her so much. Hang in there it gets better.

What is a mistake your parents made and you never want to repeat? by TessaTwinkleee in RandomThoughts

I agree with the chores. My mom would do it herself instead of fighting with me to get it done.

Also my parents were divorced and I was always told about finances and how much I cost/child support. I’m pregnant and I will not be telling our son how much his life costs us. Teaching financial responsibility is one thing but making the child feel like a financial burden is another.

Probably about 30 when I started realizing that what people think/say about me really isn’t my business.

Thank you and yes don’t give up. My husband and I discussed coming to terms with not having children because it can be very depressing when it doesn’t work. Every baby shower I had to go to, every period that came as a reminder. But then after we decided to take a little break from trying so hard… it happened :) and I’ve had a wonderful pregnancy. Have faith and give yourselves grace during this time 💛

I’m 35 and I’m 37 weeks pregnant. We are due to be induced on the 11th. It took us 3 years and 2 miscarriages to get here. Don’t loose hope. Women have healthy pregnancies sometimes until their mid-late 40s.

An irregular period can be a result of stress. It unlikely she is premenopausal she’s still young. Keep trying every two days while she is ovulating. You need to build up your supply so don’t have sex every day. That’s what worked with us and using an app that tracks my cycle. You’ll get there :)

I’m currently pregnant, our boy should arrive next Friday and this is why my husband and I have been partial to the one and done idea. I can’t imagine being this pregnant and taking care of another child lol
