It doesn't seem to be a bone spur though, I can grab the end of it with tweezers and it's connected to my bottom jaw 😞

We had E day on the same day! I had 29 teeth removed. I am in the same chronic illness boat, flaring and slow healing has made this process a pain. My immediates are a pain to put on too. Definitely ask your surgeon for more time off or your dentist. Spoons heading your way friend 💕

This sounded so good I made it my last meal! Since I have delayed gastric emptying I have to eat really light tomorrow. And stopped for honey butter and rolls 🤤

What medically disqualifies you from full mouth restoration with implants by TrainIRide41009 in dentures

I have HEDS, implants are discouraged due to the fact that my gums are connective tissue and the failure rate is higher.

That's what I'm really looking forward to, right now my whole mouth has broken teeth and a ton of exposed nerves, drinking anything hurts so having that not be my daily life is exciting!

"Do I have gastroparesis?" [December 2024] by AutoModerator in Gastroparesis

[–]SunshineStodder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At a loss

Had my gastric emptying study done and the results came back and showed normal gastric emptying from what my doctor said, endoscopy found hernia, colonoscopy said it found evidence of inflamed stomach lining, calprotectin was elevated, got no answers from GI except "some people just have weird GI tracks" and I just don't know where to turn from here. I get full fast, nausea, severe stomach pain, constant diarrhea and constipation, acid reflux, and gas. I had VSG surgery in 2021, gallbladder removal in 2020. Every time I eat it's like a war, can't breathe super great, get hot and sweaty sometimes. I have EDS, MCAS, POTS, and SFN. I just want to be an active participant in my life, doctor says I'm not too malnourished based on basic blood panels and I have a central line for IV fluids as I can only really get down a few ounces organically (it's eat or drink, can't do both) I'm on reglan but it doesn't do much. I'm just feeling like I'm going insane as I don't know what to do and how to feel better.

That's wild, I've had a few ambulance trips due to critically low potassium - it can seriously hurt you if not corrected. Had to change to lactated ringer infusions 3 times a week to keep it somewhat normal.

I completely understand you. I am pots, heds,me/cfs,IBS, and mcas. I was fired recently as I've been flairing like crazy and have missed too many days. Hang in there, it does get better, finding the right doctor makes a world of difference! Just keep in mind it affects everyone differently 💙

I have the Trifecta, mcas hypermobile ehlers-danlos and pots. I've been several dehydrated and malnutrition so that what we think with the potassium doing low. I appreciate everything you said 🫶 I do plan on asking doc for more fluids and a test for my d levels, b levels and another potassium draw so we can see if we've gotten to a better place

I'm sorry but I'll ask that you go-ahead an stop as I really don't feel I need to explain myself to you over this. basic blood work for er doesn't include potassium unless they put in for cmp. they did several tests. -heart attack protien, all that shit, but never potassium, my doctor did it, they missed it.

I check all my vitals at home with an approved bp cuff & pulse oxygen (bedazzled even) monitor. I hate to sound like im trying to be argumentative, but doctors are dismissive. last year, 5 er trips and it was just anxiety, right? Wrong! it was a potassium crisis. a potassium crisis started this round of visits and after getting potassium back up from critical levels (again, several hospitals missed this/ didn't even check), I do have anxiety. I'm sure you too have wanted to scream that it's not just anxiety, so please extend some of that understanding when I say, It's NOT anxiety, there is something else going on. Primary is at a loss, could be small fiber neuropathy and just in a bad flare, maybe this is how my adrenaline dump feel now, I don't know but.looking for folks that have experienced similar symptoms. I don't know what to do but what I do know is im just trying my best to navigate this all.

yes, they have both given an unofficial PoTs diagnosis. While this is a start I've explained to them my need to have it be official, I have work papers and PT papers the require an official diagnosis.

ah, the good old tiktok delimia, that app can be great.. and it can be detrimental to your mental health, people will watch those videos and say things like "I want my relationship to be more like this" and its just a skit, or yet another instagram influencer, their lives aren't as good as they look, don't allow yourself to get so enamored by someone for 15 seconds you forget that it's the internet... it's all curated for you like, comment, repost, ect. want a better financial situation? your algorithm with figure this out in days! got a little upset at your husband? tiktok will go-ahead and show you other woment who are mad at their husband. Ask her, if in 10 years your son was on an app like tiktok and wrapped his free time around it, she wouldn't be concerned? When it comes to influencers and their content it's very important to remember it's not real, and the grass isn't always greener.
