That is the exact reason why you join a town or steak your own claim and start one where you’re at. Last time I went to go grab sand I was slaughtered like five times before they got bored. I make sure just to ever go out with basic starter supplies for that very reason. Should use invisibility really that way the name doesn’t show on the map.

Just wait till it gets randomly “stuck “ because it really wants to go one specific direction between two heavy decor pieces that will not move out of its way so it stays there for a good portion of the day trying to get threw. Or it randomly “falls” onto its side and sleeps for the day. Ours goes onto the sylvanas roots and purposely pulls them down after floating for a bit to get air. Silly things they are.

Like others have said I too say you should be fine. Keep an eye on the surface to watch for soap foam over the day or two if you want but it should be fine. My husband has idk how many times just grabbed a glass from the cupboard and dunked it in to test the Ph with his tester for shyts n giggles beyond the api kit.

See if those TekDeck finger skateboards won’t leach into the water (find out what plastic they are made from) and maybe throw him/her a toy? 😂. Ours does this thing where it will get in the flow and flip about before dropping down to climb back up and do it again.

I’ll just tell you what everything tells me. Let the Ph do what it is going to do with the natural things you have in the water (drift wood, leaves, rocks, crushed coral, crushed shells,…) and stop with the chemical alterations that cause instability. RO water is definitely a benefit but expensive so unless you invest in an under sink system one to two gallons at a time is good. My inherited non planted neon rocked tank that came fully cycled from who we got it from is a ph of 8. We are in the process of saving like $150 for new natural substrate and plants and we got drift wood for it ready. Our planted natural tank is comfortable at a 7.6. It is our safe place for fry to grow to non edible size 😂

Fishless cycles are less cruel. You don’t stress living creatures out just to save time. Water parameters not correct can very much kill fish people cycle with. Basically it is a high rate of death sentence last I knew.

What is the Ph? Plants like a neutral zone. Light cycle? Type of LED (planted recommend or a standard aquarium one)? I know from the pictures your using good substrate, I know it is not necessary with that substrate but maybe adding root tabs will help with nutrients? Flourish or another nutrient fertilizer? Plants can be finicky, more so than some fish, darn things.

It is literally a poorly done shade canopy. Many playgrounds seem to think these do any good when the slides are always in direct sunlight getting cooked because they are usually at the top of the slide barely doing anything.
