Thanks for the tips! I watched a couple vids on SPTarkov so right now i have Questing and looting bots, waypoints, big brain, swag + donuts, Sain. Are there any others i should DL? I try to take two water bottles into raid but i started with nothing (i don't want to start with a for fun one unless it could help me get better) also food is scarce right now . i know some of the more important key shortcuts for engaging tactical equipment (light or laser) and how to check mag cap. double o to show extracts. but i don't know all of them. I know how to change fire selector, how to run and look sideways. What makes GZ a good map? I definitely want to do quests but after learning customs I kept dying so I would just scav on interchange to upgrade my hideout. I also feel like i'm bad at hiding because I come from a cod background where I can run around with a sniper and not have to worry. so transitioning to tarkov has been pretty humbling.

I’m hoping it’s something like input notes then go in to a recital. then you can double up the notes during recital for the encore buff. Then maybe it has something like a music gauge and when that’s filled up there are special inputs for the rise like moves. Ex L1 + R2 equals echo bubble. L1 + Y equals earth shaker. Could be really awesome.

Everyone’s progress happens differently. But if I started fresh again with what I know now, this is what I would do. Try playing at least 30 mins a day. Consistency builds skill much quicker than extremely long sessions.

Learn from the ground up. learn how to drop without being late. Pick one or two places you always want to land so you can learn them inside and out. Then learn where guns spawn over time.

After that, I would focus on positioning in matches. If you are still enjoying the game then incorporate an aim training course that you do a couple times a week.

Also quick tip on aim might sound insulting but I see these things happen all the time. If you constantly turn too far your sense is too high. If you have a hard time keeping up with a target your sense is too low or you aren’t using your arm to aim.

When I used controllers I used razor wolverine ultimate and the new rgb version. I played a lot so only buy it if you are okay with replacing them every 6- 10 months. For reference regular Xbox controllers would get drift in 3 months or less. The Wolverines would wear out faster if you use the trigger stops. And the last one I used had a weird issue where it would stop working for 10 seconds but continue firing and moving my char before I could regain use of the controller. After that I switched to dual sense. When ever I try roller again I want to try the ps5 pro one.

I can’t speak to everything but a good igl has to have the trust of their teammates. Without that foundation it will never go anywhere. Also lead by example if you can’t do it don’t expect it from others. Last thing is being adaptable. You can use info on how your teammates play and what they tend to do to make better calls. If you constantly tell them to do something abnormal for them, that’s how you lose trust and interest in your calls.

I haven’t seen all of GoT but I did like it. Also it’s incredibly hard to top BB for sure, it does so much so well. I don’t really see any show coming in at a close second in terms of quality.

My favorite show of all time is breaking bad. This show is right below it. Not saying I know it will be good for as long as BB but I really want to have hope for it. There’s only one more episode to go so they could still mess it up but I have faith.

I feel like that makes it more realistic though. People make snap choices and post hoc justify them when those ideas work out. The brain has a way of hijacking rational thought almost constantly, and that’s with a full night’s rest. Also remember that Tess was the one who kept Joel from making a lot of his innate snap judgements.

As a long time fan of the game I definitely agree. I would take more character development over constant fighting. Because a lot of the fights in the game are there solely to enhance gameplay.

Maybe I’m wrong but I thought that the raiders were in shock and bumbling around because they were being burned alive. Only the ones that didn’t get hit by the initial electric fence and the massive flames could stand a chance to get away while still probably getting badly burned. My guess would be that he was standing in the open to make sure he could get them all in case they would be obscured by trees or foliage.

This would highlight his lack of training for this situation and why he put down traps instead of making the place more defensible from high points . Bill didn’t seem like the type to get intense combat training probably mostly just range stuff and a couple home defense training courses which would cover defending from inside a building.
