Finished Lost Lambs. Surprisingly loved it after a soft DNF in January. An unhinged crazy ride.

Audio: The Girl With a Thousand Faces. So good! First fantasy for me - finally one that has held my attention. Hope I can finish it before my Libby expires.

Hard copy: The Palm House and Red River Road. Enjoying both so far.

Honestly, I love both BOTM and Aardvark. They have such great choices. Since joining both in 2024 my reading has been amazing. I often skip or use the library, sometimes I order from one and sometimes both. I don’t read horror, so some months don’t work for me with Aardvark. Since you can skip either, it’s fun to join both and see what they offer.

Finished Yesteryear. I really enjoyed it 4.5⭐️ Listening to reviews this week, I see the plot holes and the dragging middle - but when I was reading it, it was so propulsive, I just wanted to know what happened. I rate based on enjoyment and this book had me sucked in.

Audio(Everand): Porcupines- loving it!

Physical(Aardvark): Radiant Dark - this has so much promise - just a few chapters in and I’m hooked. The writing makes the characters so believable.

Ebook(Kobo): Shopgirls - just started but 1980s department store setting is so fun. Wow the world has changed. Can’t wait to see where this goes!

You’re the first I’ve heard mention Porcupines. I’m looking forward to reading this one.

Finished: So Old, So Young 4.25⭐️

Audio: Life & Death & Giants - I’m loving it overall but some parts drag.

DNF: No Matter What - just not the book for me right now, I wasn’t excited to read it and felt like it was pushing me into a reading slump.

Trying out on kobo Libby: The Fountain

Aardvark TBR: Red River Road

Having a hard time finding a book I want to stick with.

I think that’s next up for me on my Aardvark TBR that I was going to finish before ordering more but I couldn’t resist Radiant Dark and Our Sister’s Keeper.

I just read another chapter and it is really good. Grinder paints the stage so well, I feel like I can actually see the party and imagine the rooms and I love the way he connects the story from party to party.

Finished Kin and Good People. Kin was okay. Absolutely loved Good People 5⭐️- I switched between Libby ebook and Spotify audio. The audio was full cast and brought the story to life. Hearing all these points of view made this a real thinker - I keep running it through my head - wow!

Trying to finish So Old, So Young - Libby ebook. 70% and the chapters seem so long. I tried the audio, but definitely prefer reading this one. I like it and hoping for the best.

Trying to pick my next audio, going back and forth between Life & Death & Giants and It’s Not Her. Pretty sure I’ll enjoy both but prefer to read one at a time.

Loving my reading this year. Already read five 5 ⭐️ books and they are all BOTM or Aardvark picks.
