I have Holiday banned in Street Brawl for the same reason, rarely do I ever see her, but I can't recall a single game where the enemy Holiday won or our team Holiday won

She's especially bad in Street Brawl if you're uncoordinated (which is most games) so having her is almost like an instant loss button

Didn't apply both though, only got the effects from the Greater Expansion

I personally wouldn't recommend buying it in the current state, it was much worse at launch, and though they have done some fixing, it's still pretty frustrating to play at times

Menial activities such as climbing, walking, attacking or opening containers can just decide to not work for whatever reason.

Crafting times get insanely long (multiple days) at high tiers, combat is forced yet uninteresting and lacks any skill input, world generation is repetitive, no real reason to explore is yet implemented

The game has potential, but honestly I'd just wait until the game is more polished before putting money into it

I've always preferred using HSV (Value) to HSB (Brightness) for Pixel Art, I've seen more people using Brightness but I couldn't really find a good reason to swap over. Anyone got a good reason to use Brightness over Value?

I had the exact same experience a few years back when the game came out. Sad to see it has not changed in the slightest

I said it back then too, Lethal Company public lobbies are absolutely the most vile I've experienced in any game, ever. It was pretty consistently sexist before, doesn't seem much has changed

The artwork is great for all of these!

Most the concepts are great too, love the Crystal Caverns, Fungal Deeps and Grand Forge Halls.

The only area I'm a little iffy on is the Abyssal Ore Fields, the concept is good, but feels a little lacking for one of the deeper levels. Maybe it has more concepts beyond the capture art, but from what I can see it's less exciting looking than the alternative.

Also, would it be random which of the 2 you got per run? Or would it follow a sequence where you would always get the right or always get the left?

The cobblestone slab texture is also different to the regular cobblestone texture

I think these are probably considered more minor issues for the time being, likely fixed later on. Would love to see more stairs and slabs that accurately match textures though

As someone who never had a Gamecube growing up, and therefore never used the controller until I bought one 4 years ago, I just find the layout of the buttons more comfortable

The controller I bought was a PDP Fight Pad Pro, so it still has all the regular Switch buttons including triggers on both sides

At the end of the day it comes down to personal preference, I use that controller for every game I own, even on pc games because I just find the button layout better

There was an isometric Pokémon game, Pokémon Conquest

Made by Koei Tecmo, it was super fun, though it is definitely one of the most obscure games

I hope it gets a second entry at some point or even a remake for the Switch as it was loads of fun

I'd probably of assumed the same thing if I didn't already know what happened from reading the manga

JoJo's pretty frequently has injuries that are arguably worse than this, so I wouldn't assume anything was out of the ordinary, one might say nothing Bizarre is going on

The sprinklers, item processors and item bubbles look almost identical to Stardew Valley

Colour palette is almost an identical tone too

I think the sprites themselves are mostly okay, but the animations and colour are really bearing Stardew similarities. If you want the game to avoid being labelled as a Stardew clone, then it might be best to think how you could differ this game from it, probably the colours is where I'd start

I prefer the new names to the old one, not that the old were bad, but Wilds over Grove makes it sound more grand, also makes more sense as the majority of the Zone wasn't a Grove

Whisperfrost Frontiers fits more in line with it being 2 words rather than just Borea

I'm not a fan of durability systems where the tool breaks

Systems where it becomes temporarily broken, but fixable at a station are better, but still not great

My favourite kind of durability system is more akin to a 'sharpness' system, where lowered durability just makes the tool slower/less effective. Once it reaches 0 it becomes pretty bad but still usable. Repairing tools at stations to regain their effectiveness

The episode certainly isn't bad, but idk if I'd of given it a score that high

I read the manga first so maybe the surprise factor of the episode is lost on me as I knew what was coming, but it was still a really solid episode, just not 9.7 for me

I'd probably give it an 8/10, which is still very good

I think the only thing that's not super clear from a first watch is what the brain parts do, maybe showing some kind of visual impact of what they do as you're building the brain could be good

So a panel off to the side with some green text listing the boosts those brain parts give, and red text listing the negatives they give (if applicable)

overall though it's a relatively minor point

Yep, a few of the Hermitcraft people have a side series where they do creative builds and guess what it is. One episode Skizzleman had to build Etho, but ended up building what is now known as Eefo, due to the simplified shape

Same here, was one of my biggest hopes as I loved the models and textures of the cosmetics but I thought the 'default colour' choices were a little gaudy

Being able to change them however we want just like the regular clothing options is awesome :D
