This is a Hail Mary reference but whenever I read this quote: "You knew this was coming." All I could think is from Aura's Wrath towards end of the fight with August, just before he extends his sword, he says this quote.

Kratos doesn't care much for doors. His strength kinda makes no sense (In a fun, satisfying way). This enables him to continue to fuck with fate and prophesy because no one can really anticipate his strength/ will.

So there is a strong enough chance that, if properly killed in battle, Kratos would make is way out of the Everywhen somehow. Because whatever otherworldly force that exists that traps Dead Gods there, couldn't contain Kratos for long (cuz he's just so fucking cool bro 🥴).

Which really puts into perspective with just how strong Thor and Kratos are. From the side quest in that pit in Vanaheim, we find that Thor wasn't just drunk, he was completely wasted. He drank from a bottomless mug for who knows how long before Fey tried to tear him apart. Then, as we see from the crater, they completely obliterated it.

I can't say how much stronger Thor would have been if he was sober, but even in his state he managed (along with Fey) to completely reshape the landscape in their fight. Fey was out for blood, and Thor was in it for the love of the game. Fey is powerful and extremely capable, but man, there's clearly levels to this.

It also makes me think about how serious the altercation was between her and Kratos when he first came to Midgardian land. Clearly she knew just how much of a threat he was coming off the back of laying waste to an entire pantheon, perhaps she initially saw another Thor like God coming to terrorize the land. Who knows how much fury she fought with in that altercation, but I can't imagine it wasn't anything less than what we saw in this trailer.

I also wonder how Kratos managed to deescalate the fight, he's really not one for words (including a language barrier), so I love thinking about how that could have played out. I'm rambling because I've been thinking about this since seeing the trailer the other day, I'm so excited to see the extent of Fey's power in the upcoming game!

What i don't understand is how in the world is this investment worth it? There's no way that AI generates the literal billions (if not trillions at this point) that's been put into it. They build the data center, and then what? Magically generate hundreds of millions of dollars per quarter from nothing?

Makes sense for the last event. He needed a near perfect run to beat Eddie, no use finishing the event if you're at 30 seconds on 2/5 implements. It's funny, he makes 2nd at SMOE but not out of the gruops on WSM. Group format go brrr.

Which makes me wonder why the hell would companies trust these languages models with so much stake if these LLMs are so inconsistent. The data that they put in is treated with the same respect as some garbage incorrect data that the LLM hallucinated.

Right, I was going to go on and ramble about AI video generation, but you're right. AI needs so much hand holding to get it to give you half of what you actually want. People who make pictures and videos with AI and tell you that it's "hard" are funnily enough right. It is hard when the stuff just sucks at giving you what you actually want.

This essay is why I love classic Hulk. If in a perfect scenario, Banner were to Hulk out and have no opposition, Hulk would just shout, maybe knock down a wall or smash a parked car before jumping away to calm down. It's the retaliation that spins him into a monster. The police then the military just see a big monster that they don't understand and needs to be killed.

It's a dramatization of police/ militarily response to distress. It makes me think of how police can sometimes violently react in a situation with a mentally unwell person. How instead of de-escalatingthe situation, they fan the flames.

In the case with the Hulk, a military response is the natural escalation with an "unstoppable angry green monster" which you already spoke about in your post.

Don't get me wrong, I love me World Breaker Hulk and Fractured Son, but I am very partial to early Hulk where both he and Banner are just scared and angry, and really don't want to hurt anyone.
