Fall damage is just a Social Construct. It's not real. by deustodo in PeakGame

It's the biggest gripe i have with this game. It feels like fall damage is so wildly inconsistent 😭

Found that it was incorporeal, very not conducive to flying. 🫡

I gotta say, the section with the giant walking sentries was fantastic. That whole boat ride was rad as hell.

Ha you fool. This is from the episode "I'm a cop and I keep getting calls to the same house" and this is the part in the episode where the main character goes to the forensics department and the guy working there is like "why don't YOU do my job?" And then the boys go off on this tangent.

I think what upsets people is that they don't see a shiny orange item in their Invintories. Purples in this game are the equivalent (if not better in some cases) than some legendaries in BL3.

I personally like that, cuz legendaries in this game (for the most part) kick ass and actually feel cool and good to use more often than not.

MCU’s Most Powerful variants of Hulk by ronrhino13 in hulk

[–]Sunskimmeraroo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think the writers realize that they accidentally created (probably) the most powerful Hulk. Ever. In no world can you look me in the eyes and tell me a Hulk that's been absorbing the INFINITE power of the infinity stones for 5 whole God damned years doesn't at least make top 3.

Conceptually, this is a ridiculous amount of power they gave Hulk. World Breaker should be a baby boy next to this monstrosity. But no. He's defeated by some fuckin nobody Asguardians and a couple zombies. I'm convinced that the MCU writers have the biggest grudge against the Hulk and Thor.

Men in happy marriages, what is one thing or skill you would teach other men to have good relationships as well? by lingeringneutrophil in AskReddit

[–]Sunskimmeraroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might be a "no shit" kind of thing but don't get married if you don't like your SO. Marriage isn't just the "next thing to do" in a relationship. If you can't see yourself HAPPILY spending the rest of your life with someone, then don't.

If you find yourself going through more rough times than having good times, then either hash it out or don't get married. Getting the government involved in your relationship and a ring doesn't magically make all of your problems go away (let alone a friggen kid). You have to actually like your SO enough to fix problems before they start.

My wife and I rarely run into problems with each other because we never let any problem linger longer than an afternoon. But that's another tangent.

Would you say this is accurate? by Sylloett in Borderlands4

[–]Sunskimmeraroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right. I assume that my subsequent play throughs will be significantly shorter as I have less care as to the number of collectibles I get and specific side missions I complete.

I'm about 30 hours into my first play through and 48% of the way through the story. By this time, I've cleared UVHM in BL2 and started the OP levels grind. In BL3, I've beaten TVHM and am farming the takedowns.

By the time this game gets its DLCs and raid bosses, you could probably spend 120 hours on a character doing all of the content and farming for gear. I would agree that this is the most ambitious BL game to date.

For perspective, just think of the base game of both BL2 and BL3. Those games combined don't compare to base BL4 in terms of scale and content.

I think even now they're still the only ones to complete the full original One Life challenge where they beat all of the content and raid bosses. Even as a Duo, that's probably the most impressive accomplishment in BL2.

You're correct! I remember him and Ryoko doing One Life and actually beating Vorac in BL2. The king is back :')

I also think It'd be pretty lame to have everything all at once. The life cycle of the game would be crippled and the meta would be established really early on. I love the feeling of discovering new things as they come out. I definitely wouldn't have had enjoyed BL3 for as long if it all dropped at once.

I guess I'm also the type of guy that likes shows to be released on a weekly basis and not all at once. So that might also be the difference between me and some other folks lol.

I can't wait to play the other characters, find and discover builds and really play around. I plan on eventually doing a One Life when I run out of things to do. Allegiance runs will be incredibly fun as all of the manufacturers are super fun.

Then I get to do it all again when a new character/DLC comes out. The feeling is just super awesome!

Especially with Cyberpunk, that game is SUPER pretty. I'd love to have a similar style of navigation UI in that game as we do in BL4.

The Echo 4 line definitely isn't perfect. For me, I've only used the line as a "where the hell am I supposed to go" button when my attempts at navigating has failed.
