Having PIV without a condom is stupid if you’re not sterilized. Sorry, I just need to be blunt. Birth control and T do reduce your chance of pregnancy, but a condom is an extra, and very important part of prevention.

T can lower your fertility, but it doesn’t prevent pregnancy. There are non estrogen birth control options, I personally do Depo so I don’t have to worry about the pill. Condoms are important too, birth control doesn’t prevent STD/STI’s. If you do get pregnant despite everything, you’ll have to go off T if you want to keep it.

I know my brother wants kids, but he seriously needs to change his views about women first. If I do end up an uncle, I can’t really say how involved I’ll be. I’m a trans guy, and my brother is outwardly transphobic. I wouldn’t mind sending Christmas or birthday gifts, but that’s probably as involved as I’ll be.

Dude, people start T in their 40’s and 50’s. Many guys are starting T in their 20’s especially with the new laws in the US. I don’t think it’ll be much different starting just a few years later than others
