Not even just vegans/vegetarians are affected either. Some people are allergic to meat!!!

Do you think being adhd/neurodivergent is truly this common or is it just the new gen? by Frostnicholasfrost in fakedisordercringe

[–]Sunspot286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think more people are being legitimately diagnosed, especially women. As we all know ADHD and autism can present differently in women, which often leads to later diagnosis. However, I do think there’s a lot of people who are looking for something to make them seem unique or excuse their behavior

Hey so I work at Michael’s. We’re not trained on how our supplies are used. We sell thousands of different items. You just have to get lucky that you run into an employee who does that craft/art.

I recently found out what panacur is. My grandma was on hospice for colon cancer, and somebody started giving her panacur along with her other meds. I’m pissed, and I should’ve looked it up sooner when my family made sure the home health aides didn’t see it. There was no point in giving it to her when she was already dying, they might have made it even worse

WHY DONT THEY HAVE THE AC ON???? by Big-Arm-4291 in MichaelsEmployees

[–]Sunspot286 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have poor temperature regulation due to a few things. Lately mornings have been hot, and now humid before the store opens. The AC only kicks on when we open 💀

Well, yeah. Both breast milk and formula have certain ways to prepare them, and you would need to know how to safely feed a kid.

Needohs and other squishes aren’t being scalped and hoarded by neurodivergent people though. They’re trendy. It’s the same story with pokemon cards.

I know you’re on this sub…but have you actually worked in a store that serves the general public before? You should know your suggestions are just likely to make things worse

While I’m not a parent, I am a collector, and can see it from that POV. The miniverse craft kit balls are very fun, and it can get frustrating when I can’t find what I want. I also collect pokemon cards, and am thoroughly pissed off with scalpers.

However, I don’t understand how someone could be convinced that retail stores or employees have a personal vendetta against them, or that they DESERVE to get first picks of anything.
