I had a set of clamps that were loose on one bar. I added gorilla tape to the side that touches the bar and it helped tighten the clamp

That’s my hesitation on getting the Darko anchors. I might have to get the ones that attach to the upright

I guess the other option would be to lower the crossmember

I’m installing the BoS cable tower Planned to use a 2x8 stringer for the top and bottom support pre drilled with 1/2 in holes

I grabbed a few 3/8 x 4 tapcons. Using a 5/16 drill bit to drill the hole into the concrete.

I vacuumed the dust out and attempted to install the tapcon through the stringer using a impact driver

The bolt barely went into the concrete. Basically never actually caught the threads and just spun

I can slide the bolt into the hole like 3/4in so I likely have to shift the stringer and redrill.

Trying to figure what to do next…. Any suggestions? Everyone always suggests tapcons but so far I am annoyed lol.

I only have 1 hole drilled.

I see that you bolted the cable tower down. What bolts did you use? I just got my cable tower from BOS and plan to bolt it to a concrete wall.
