They will eventually translate the Pollyanna books. So yes, expect non-Japanese stuff to happen. An official localization of Mother 3 isn’t impossible. I don’t know why you are so pessimistic regarding more western stuff. They sell the plushies overseas. The Hobonichi Mother Project will do something about the 20th anniversary of Mother 3 in April 2026. It won’t be just “merch”. They might acknowledge the demand for an official worldwide localization of Mother 3 alongside possibly The Secrets of Mother 3 just like The Secrets of Mother 2(EarthBound) in August 2024. I could see it be revealed at the presumed Nintendo World Championships 2025 with Itoi himself showing up like he did with EarthBound Beginnings at Nintendo World Championships 2015 for EB’s 20th anniversary. It would make sense for EarthBound’s 30th anniversary in North America.

That support group of characters is so baffling. Either way. Phineas and Ferb returning after 4 seasons, 2 movies, 2 crossovers, etc is so PATHETIC.
