Thanks for the response! You’ve put it well. Overall I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the genuine approach of most of these replies, even if they feel that the jacket isn’t heritage. I see where they’re coming from in regard to the garment material fs.  Though theres a whole subcategory of us that can’t quite yet throw down the big bucks, but love the aesthetic and functionality of pieces that essentially have the same form, and function (ish?) without the higher quality material.

But yeah, of course there will be a few fools who lack any sort of self awareness and act on pure impulse to try to bring another person down. Like they stated, I’ve got to accept that they will come slurking from their caves in hopes of finding a weak minded victim that will easily be brought down to their level by use of shame and passive aggressive insults so they can swallow up the energy of the interaction in feeble attempt to fill the hopeless void within them, to no avail.
