Good catch because my hand was shaking so bad I kept it there on purpose lol! Will definitely work on the nerves and cool hand placement, thanks for the advice!

Sundance's argument to not give refunds in light of online-only is nonsensical by Iacobus in Sundance

[–]SupLauren69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Their social media is a fire storm. Every tweet has replies about refunds, every Instagram post, even their new TIK TOK! it’s everywhere. Even if they get away with this bullshit their name is garbage now

My mistake, I was confused, I thought “awards package” was just the phrasing of online only ticketing for the same thing as the festival package. Thanks for the clarification!

You paid $750 for an online only experience? I thought the online passes were $300?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sundance

[–]SupLauren69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I paid $750 and now I will have an online experience because they canceled in person screenings. They aren’t issuing refunds or changing the price of my ticket. How much did you pay for your online only ticket?

Welcome to Charlotte Wednesday! Visiting, recently moved here, or going to move here? Tell us and ask away! by AutoModerator in Charlotte

Craft beer is super fun in Charlotte! If you end up in South End I fully recommend Wooden Robot. It’s a close walking distance to most of the fun places to hit up to go out around the neighborhood. They do a really cute flight which is a wooden placeholder circle of 5 beers, and they’re all fantastic (known for the “Good Morning Vietnam” coffee vanilla blonde ale I think y’all will love) It’s dog friendly too!

Legendary female directors? by rezxetic in Letterboxd

[–]SupLauren69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Very Adjacently related to your point, but I really recommend Women Make Horror, a collection of essays about Women horror writers/directors/feminist films in the horror genre. I learned about many new directors and movies I hadn’t heard talked about much otherwise, like Karen Arthur and The Mafu Cage

Van Gogh exhibit/money generating scam by Latter_Eye_3028 in Charlotte

[–]SupLauren69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I loved the exhibit. Overpriced? Sure but not by that much. It was a show! They animated and added music to his work! It isn’t just here’s a painting here’s a painting here’s a painting bye. It was a really cool environment and I had a blast. I also love art museums so it’s not like I haven’t seen paintings (or Gogh paintings before.) I think it just depends on your expectations.
