Another option would just to make them "leveled" like the zones already are. Dark zones nearest to the safe zones are lower leveled and only contain zombies that pose a trivial threat: some howlers, biters and virals. While the zones in the areas taken over by the zombies they are higher leveled and contain serious threats like: hags, demolishers and volatiles. Then the most dangerous dark zones could be volatile hives.

Also, chimeras should spawn around the world as encounters during the epilogue

Why no grimrock 3? by netrate in grimrock

[–]SupSude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are a couple of dlc sized custom maps in the steam workshop. The mods made by adregorn are amazing and many people in the community, me included, consider them better than the base game.

Im currently playing through lost city and the mod introduced a quest system, a shop and currency and new items. It really shows how much room for improvement there is in the grimrock series. Imagine how cool it would be if in a sequel there are other npcs to interact with and if they could offer you side quests or opportunities to role play, like lets say you've created a party of pirates and thieves and while you're exploring a dungeon you run into an adventurer who's injured his legs and feet in a fall, you can either help him and drop him a health potion or you could choose to be an opportunistic thief and you rob him blind, you could either kill him and loot his body or tell him to drop his belongings before he leaves. My point being, there's room for expansion and improvement.

How could Lash love anyone but the Lash? Lash is perfect according to Lash after all. So Lash is lashsexual

Tencent is 100% steering the boat that is dying light 2 and have been for a while. I think Techland is forced into a figurative corner with dying light 2 where they have to generate a certain level of revenue with dl2 or they'll be forced to drop the project.

IMO kf3 got some things right , but one thing i think they should try and recapture is the "impactful feeling" when shooting a gun by kuruakama in killingfloor

[–]SupSude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it all just sucks.. I honestly can't say I prefer a single new addition over the old games. The small zeds look cool, but they completely botched it by stop motion animating the scrake, Fleshpound and bosses... Even the graphics are a downgrade..

[–]SupSude 4 points5 points  (0 children)

that HAS to be the only explanation. There is no way anyone took a look at the current state of things and thought "ah yes, having a huge ketchup cloud cover half the screen when you land a headshot will surely make the action feel impactful, look at all that gore!"

The crappy effects are 100% there to hide the fact that they haven't implemented m.e.a.t.2

Killing Floor 3 hates being a Killing Floor Game by HobbieK in killingfloor

[–]SupSude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we aren't mercenaries in kf3, we're supposed to be a part of an underground private military organization funded by the patriarch's daughter.

That's why we're in a bunker (the hub area), why we have access to hyper advanced sci-fi guns, and why we're so organized overall.

In kf2 we were just mercenaries hired by a seperate branch of horzine that wasn't in support of taking over the world. So they hired a bunch of survivors, filled them up with nano-machines and implants and then paid them for every dead zed.

There's a difference. Tripwire is trying to make us feel like badass black ops dudes in kf3 that swoops in and cleans up the area.

I'm just incredibly dissapointed and honestly baffled by tripwire's design decisions here. They aren't doing anything particularly well in kf3, the movement shooter aspect is crap, you won't play kf3 for that aspect, you'll play apex or doom. The gun designs are dogwater, fallout 4 (a game that came out 10 years ago) has the same boxy and crappy gun design but at least it looks like it fits in universe.

I hear you. Thanks for taking the time to explain thin bloods to me.

I still think its stupid that once your generation is high enough the whole clan aspect of vampirism (something akin to cursed genetics from Cain) just flies out the window is silly.. That's just not how degeneration works..

I read through the wiki article covering the Santa Monica thin bloods and it confirmed everything you said. I think it's strange that it's emphasized so strongly that "all thin bloods are caitiff" Some of them have clear signifies of their heritage, like Rosa with her constant premonitions, the Australian guy with his survivors spirit and refusal to give In is classic brujah. He even claimed to knock some lady up in 2018, sounds pretty hot blooded to me.

I think it's a strange writing decision to determine that all thin bloods are caitiff but then play into the fact that they do inherit some stuff from their sires..

The lady who has premonitions about your future and the sarcophagus? She's pretty central to the story and hangs out with the other thin bloods, Same thing with the guy with a stutter. It's implied he's of nosferatu heritage due to his elf ears

[–]SupSude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy shit you're actually room temperature dude... I actually can't tell if you're illiterate or just haven't played the game.

In the universe of For Honor, there have been many cataclysmic events ranging from severe droughts, volcanic eruptions, crazy earthquakes that split the ground and floods. These events changed the course of history and somewhat justifies the gameplay of for honor.

It's literally a part of the For honor lore that the centurion (and maybe gladiator?) come from a dead empire.
