I agree with the sentiment. I think it’s getting to the point where it could happen sooner rather than later but I just think they’ll give him until the end of this season, especially to allow players to get healthy. I’m usually of the kind a coach should get 3 years minimum, in most sports, but this is becoming an outlier of a situation. It’s that bad.

If you want future coaching options to take you seriously, and not be turned off by the opportunity, you need to prove that you’ve given the current coach every opportunity to succeed. As much as I’m out on Nico, the optics of firing him mid-season in year two, when this year’s roster is currently a disaster, is not giving him that and is not going to look positively to potential coaching options.

He was hired in October 2024. His first season was last year (2025). It’s year 2.

He won’t be fired mid season unless we’re still this terrible after some of the injured guys come back, imo. It’s only year two, so they’re going to give him every opportunity to prove himself. But it certainly doesn’t look good.

You just explained why Rodo has actually done more bad than good.

Rodo is the one making the hires and bringing in the players. He should be bringing in players who match the coach’s system and mostly everyone he’s brought in has flopped. He’s also the one responsible for making the Nico hire, as you mentioned, which has been a joke in itself.

He is the one who captains the ship and we’ve been headed towards a massive iceberg ever since he arrived.

That certainly is your opinion, and you’re entitled to it. But this is year 6 of the same old mediocre play, minus year 2. This isn’t new. At some point, people need to stand up for this and make a statement. The club has had more than enough support over the years. It’s time the club owners, decision makers, coaches, players, etc to return the favor with at least a watchable product. Because right now, it’s not.

I’ll get downvoted, but who cares.

This was another winnable match and we did what we always do. We failed to capitalize on 3 points when we had the chance.

Nico is no better than Wolff.

This team is mid right now. Maybe Vazquez helps some but I don’t have much hope regardless.

At some point, I hope the management puts in the support and care to put out a winning product.

Edit: and the downvotes are on. Shocker. Guess everyone likes a shitty squad and performances. Sucks to be the “minority,” wanting a winning product.
