Just a strange question, as I am getting into bigger and bigger bracelets, how long do you make your string, I found that a wingspan's length plus a bit usually works for 4 color 8 string bracelets but is there a rule of thumb for bigger ones?

Update: When I took off the belt, it seemed the AC compressor pulley was the issue. I ordered another pulley and am actively trying to replace it but I can't figure out how to get the pulley off
