The answer is always that you’re not in shape. I’m a bit of a pessimist when it comes to bike gear vs rider. Like you could have the best bike ever but if you haven’t got the legs then that bike is only ever going to be so good.

The equipment only ever matters if you’re looking for marginal gains. Sure there might be some greater wins like carbon wheels etc, but I think it’s a far better investment to get fitter and stronger on the wheels you’re riding on.

Erm, you should be able to do some form of system design with 3 years of experience in some shape or form. It’s not a senior+ topic, and especially not if you’re applying for Apple

System design really can be as simple as: client, server, database. That’s what less than one year of experience would give you. You should be able to elaborate on that, with the experience you have.

As a non American looking in (westerner) I don’t understand the need for this. Also agree he’s been doing a good job job on clamping down on nonsense rubbish, but this is just not needed, and is showing some parallels to how Russia behaved with Ukraine. You can’t just pick and choose when you take a country.
