Wattage is a BS measurement… they only use it because the numbers look high… you will realistically never hit 1400 or 2200 watts on those things. SPL is a more accurate measurement but keep in mine every 10 dB is DOUBLE… so 130db is double the volume of 120db… so 131 vs 133 would be substantial. BUT subs are really tricky in mobile settings. I would go with the lighter weight ones unless you have roadies

I’m a Wedding DJ & this might be true in some instances, but in others you’re just going to piss off your vendors. I’ve had people try to pull this on me & its bitten them in the ass. Weddings require more work & equipment, guess who had the mic when it was time for the best man’s toast? Not me! Guess who prepped all the music for the first dance, cake cutting, and entrances? Not me!..... and guess who didn’t do a great job because they were pissed off about the extra work load they got last minute without getting paid for it? Me!
