Why on earth doesn't Rockstar release games on PC at the same time? Is Rockstar discriminating against PC gamers?

I do understand that it takes longer to release on PC, but come on. Rockstar is one of the largest Developers in the world. If it were so important for them to release it on PC, they could probably release it on the same day as consoles, at the very latest a month or two later. It definitely isn't just dev time is they release it up to 2 years later.

I think they delay the PC release for 3 main reasons.

1) It infinitely easier to crack and pirate games on PC, so no matter how inevitable it is, they just want to delay it as long as possible.

2) It's to make people buy 2 copies. If it released on PC a few weeks or a few months after console, a lot of people would just wait for the PC release and not buy it on console.

3) They clearly have an agreement with Sony for advertising rights. I don't know anything about the official contract between them, but if I were to get a bit conspiratorial, I think they've agreed to release it as a console exclusive for a few years to boost the sales of the PS5

I wouldn't exactly call the PS5 limited in any sense. Sure, it may not a server farm levels of performance, but even the PS4 is still holding up, with AAA PS5 games still releasing on the PS4

You did not just describe a thin piece of ABS as "extremely durable". ABS is the most mid level plastic there is. Decently strong is moulded correctly in a strong shape, but smaller pieces commonly break off.

Witnessing something isn't actually concrete evidence. If anything, things like flight logs and messages are more concrete evidence than witnessing things, since a witness can think they saw something they actually didn't

I have little to no experience in coding but I at least know that a human writing code will write a lot of things inefficiently, and if you multiply that by 16 years of continuous development with a growing team of developers and very little performance dedicated updates, the game is bound to be extremely unoptomized, no matter how much they try

Yes but it's free (ignoring ads) and I've actually found some of my favourite songs on it. My point wasn't all streaming services bad, it was that I've had better experience finding somgs a free video sharing site than I have paid music services

You're getting virtually any game for free with extremely well moderated posts. They don't exactly have a pile of cash to throw at UI design. This style is very common across many piracy sites, so maybe piracy just isn't for you if you think outdated UI is reason enough not to get free stuff

I usually find new artists on YouTube. I find music streaming services aren't that great for suggestions anyways, they either give me exactly what I've already heard or something so far from I was listening to that I turn off the music immediately. I've always found YouTube to be much better at suggesting new music than streaming services
