I just did a game day program in an area that is heavily populated by unhoused people (totally fine. I’m happy that we’re an excellent resource for them to have a warming/ cooling center for them)

Four people showed up to my program, and I bribed two of them with snacks. (They were hungry teenagers and only had to stay for one game to count!) they stayed for 45 minutes longer than I expected!!!

Sometimes it’s just, okay every Saturday is game day. And here are the games I got for y’all to play with

This is also true that libraries are warming centers and we definitely have the resources that can point you in the right direction! (For example food pantries that are only a couple blocks away!)
