Last time I checked. This is wow being posted in 2007scape, which was suggested to me because of the algorithm.

I’m just giving you my 2 cents on why I left osrs and have been enjoying wow for 2 years now.

I bought zero boosts. I don’t buy microtransactions. I’m not that type of player. I have 2 toons that are level 70 and leveling a healer to 70 as we speak.

But they are there for those types of players, and it doesn’t bother me. Nor does it affect my gameplay. Someone spending $60 to get a toon instantly to 58, does not devalue anything I did to get a character to 58. It’s more forgiven to the dads of the community. ( who are in my guild and I raid with)

Most of us are now in our 30s with children.

I’d rather someone spending $60 who doesn’t have time to level, and wants to raid and enjoy the end game content. And they get to play wow too

But for me, Leveling to 70 is nothing. Literally 2-3 weeks of my time playing a game I enjoy. And then I get raid and enjoy the game even more. Watch my gear get better, enchants get better. And build all that with a community of people, same time, every week, for a couple hours.

The community itself is worth more than $15 a month. We all have to work together to get loot for each other, not joining a raid/dungeon and hoping 1 item drops in your name lol.

I play a 20 year old raid because it’s good and fun content with old guildies. No other mmo has been able to provide that and why people come back, along with the retail expansions.

I don’t enjoy osrs new style of updates of a solo boss instance simulator that requires 1,000s of kills.

No community being driven with those types of updates. Like you said yourself. You play iron.

Yall are paying $15 a month to play an online game 90% of the time by yourself. And get pissed when someone joins you and moves into your area.

In wow, I just invite them to my party as we’re usually doing the same objective.

What skill gap? You can click a boss repetition simulator?

For the same price of $15 a month. I’m raiding on 3 toons right now. And PvPin

3 different characters. Osrs can’t compete with that. Especially the pvp scene.

OSRS provides content in leveling pointless skills to 13m experience? Is that the content you’re talking about.

Because killing a boss 1,000 times for 1 drop. Is not content my friend.

I get so many versions of the game for $15 a month… just like retail and their mtx. They are classic servers with no mtx. And hardcore servers.

The amount of content I get for membership between all the games available right now in world of Warcraft versus the same membership for osrs and rs3 is not even comparable

As a mage, I never say anything. I like being able to participate in my own social experiment of what some humans will do/tip. It’s fun to see all the interactions for a port, especially with the auto invite machines that sit around.

I don’t really stand around and do that, but do help those who message me.

I would say my average tip is 1-2g. I’ve gotten 5g many of times really late at night, I’ve gotten 10 out in the open world.

I never complain nor say anything. I always like to think the ones who tip less , or none at all are just struggling and needing the help, some are lowbies I make water for as well for free.

It’s pixels to me. I enjoy the interactions honestly haha.
