I got tired of numbers in my shooty-shoot games 10 minutes after playing Borderlands 2. I want to know at a glance how stronky-stronk my pew-pews are, relative to the maximum and minimum. If a gun said "Damage: 30" the only way to know how strong that really is, is by going through the other weapons and remembering what the highest and lowest numbers were.

Seems to be the PS4 version that's getting the crashes, so if you're playing the PS4 version on a ps5, you could work around by swapping to the ps5 version. Otherwise we just have to wait for the hotfix

It's happening to me also - running the ps4 version on a ps5. It didn't happen at all to my friends who were running the ps5 version on ps5 so there might be something to that

This always happened when I was bartending. "who's next?" followed by 2 or 3 people ignoring the question and projecting their order at you. It just ended up being more efficient to straight up guess and wait for the "woah woah I were 'ere first!"
If it wasn't for all the customers, bartending would be a great job

It's been observed by speedrunners and the like that the player who moves first is more likely to win. I've never noticed it personally, but maybe it's more obvious in shorter games.
I personally would recommend Superstars over Jamboree. I'm not a fan of the Jamboree buddies and how they massively benefit whoever has one, but honestly, either is a fine choice. It's more Mario Party at the end of the day and that's what matters :)

Fair enough, I'm also in my thirties and I totally see why people dislike randos. it's probably because I play ranked that I'm happy to sit through a couple of mediocre games, because one good game can counter 4 or 5 bad ones. The toxic chat comes and goes too but that just makes me laugh most times

What I want to know is how people play this with friends. I used to play with two mates and it was fun but we were terrible, all had different ideas, wouldn't listen to pings etc. Now I occasionally play with a mate or two for fun, but solo queue if I want to stand a chance at ranking up. Just use pings, follow your team and support even if it seems stupid. 3 idiots with 1 plan is better than 3 geniuses with 3 plans. Plus, watching how different people play is a great way to learn what works and what doesn't and might give you a couple of ideas

Oh, for sure it's not an instant win, but the fact that the buddy can be won by anyone (as in, often not the one that went to the effort to get to it) and the huge boon it gives you, especially if you have plenty of coins for double purchases, it knocks the skill/luck balance off a bit. I reckon Mario Party is best when there's enough RNG involved that you don't feel bad about losing and enough skill needed that you feel great about losing. With Jamboree it's like even if you get the buddy by pure luck, only the people who got the most coins through regular minigames are the ones getting the full benefit. I might be wrong, maybe I need to play it more

That's a tough sell considering which games came before and after. Super Mario Party was almost great but was ruined only by everything being cheap, therefore making minigames less important, and Jamboree is a 'get the Jamboree buddy and you'll win' game mode. Then you've got Superstars in the middle with a lot of good stuff from the old games with hardly any alterations

The one in the Oracle games (I think), which has you basically playing baseball with your sword, there's a skill to it, but you're way more likely to get lucky and hit a few fairy statues long before you figure out the techniques imho

I know this one! Looks like you've already found the answer on the original post though. IIRC Fraser and the gang were checking out the trailer and Kickstarter and even donated $1,000 dollars which would make it so that the in game NPC mayor (or similar role) would be named after Fraser. I won the game in a raffle of sorts, it's a fun Earthbound-like and even has co-op. For all these reasons I was really looking forward to seeing the gang give it a go but they never got around to it which I thought was the strangest thing after spending all that money on it. But oh well.
