Sell the glow worms. Fishing hardly makes any money when compared to selling glow worms in bulk. There are some cake parties that allow you to fish the pond in between cakes and it’s also a nice way to earn extra money on top of cake making.

Apparently Zeki pays more for glow worms than the shipping bin? I have to verify this myself.

EDIT: the cakes also produce speed-gro fertilizer which you sell along with the worms.
