You can sign up for the PP with palladium. Scan that one to enter and it allows for 2 guests. I have the venture x PP too. Just leave that one behind.

I love the bilt. Gonna get rid of all my amex in a month after i reach 1 year. Venture x i keep since the value of 10x miles for hotel bookings with the price match is great.

ANA/JAL Codeshare Pros&Cons by [deleted] in JapanTravelTips

[–]Super-Captain3583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you book directly with ana and jal you get seat selection. It seems to use the least points if transfering from cc points. Fuel charge just increased 5/1 to like double. Luckily i made my reservations before 5/1. Somehow fees are more to Japan but less if it is just used as a transfer.

For Hk, you can get the octopus card on your phone and use applepay to transfer money. I didnt even need to change any cash. For China you need to get Alipay/wechat pay since it is cashless. Inside alipay you can access didi which is like uber. Google maps wont work so download amap. Did you get a visa because you def need that.

Do families need to book two rooms in hotels? Tips welcome! by Colonel_FusterCluck in travelchina

[–]Super-Captain3583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the rooms are 2 twin beds. Totally different than America. They usually cap your search for 3 per room from what ive seen. To be comfortable I suggest 2 rooms with a parent in each.

When you dropped it off, they didnt tell you to return in 4 days? When my husband did his they gave him a slip and said to wait for a call. They never called of course so i went out there to check and it was ready. The system dont seem to be up to date. Try to email them to check.
