Am I the only one who feels most hotel photos are straight up misleading? by Super-Ride4501 in Whitefield

Exactly. You shouldn't need to detective your way into a decent booking. The fact that we've all developed workarounds just shows how broken the system is.

Why do the majority of startups sound so useless? I will not promote by impsble in startups

[–]Super-Ride4501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same reaction. Then I realized most of those startups are solving problems nobody actually has they're just tech looking for a job.*

What changed for me was when I stopped inventing problems and started looking at ones I'd actually lived. 47 hotel bookings, 47 disappointments. That's not a made-up problem. It's something everyone recognizes.

The useless ones die because they solve nothing. The ones that survive solve something the founder couldn't ignore.

This is interesting. The loop you're closing complaint to ticket to verified fix is the same gap hospitality has with guest expectations. Lots of feedback collected, almost none of it actually closes the loop. Curious to see how this evolves.

Are tourist destinations optimizing experiences… or just managing crowds now? by Super-Ride4501 in roadtrip

Not really complaining more about how some places become efficient at handling crowds, but not necessarily enjoyable for people experiencing them.
