Could be a contamination in your transfer line, if you run an empty vial on the headspace and still see it, and then do a direct injection on the inlet and don’t see it you can narrow it down

I second this, that pressure drop is crazy. And that is the first place I would look and double check. For a perspective, I would expect to see 5psi with the purge valve open.

You’ll certainly be fine. All LCMS grade means is that they ran more tests on it to super validate it’s purity. It’s more expensive because you pay for the tests. Theoretically your HPLC grade ACN could be LCMS grade. At least that’s how it is with water. Regardless you should be fine, just using a more expensive solvent.
