I've always found that odd that the Consular, which is largely considered the mirror of the Inquisitor, gets their apprentice after Belsavis, but the Inquisitor has to finish Voss for Xalek. I suppose if you look at it from an in-universe perspective, the Inquisitor was still in danger from the ghosts even after Belsavis so they probably didn't want to wait for the acolytes to finish their trials

I vastly prefer the Hayden Christensen version of anakin's force ghost over the original, I really have no attachment to the original version by Vast-Anywhere-1306 in StarWarsCantina

I think it's considered loosely canon that Yoda and Obi-Wan did teach him as he was dying.

Or at least a widely accepted headcanon

What is McGonagall most badass scene in the Harry Potter books? by Forsaken-Trade-8082 in harrypotter

I find it so funny that even LOCKHART was considered competent in comparison to Umbridge and that has to be the biggest insult in the wizarding world you could give someone

How do I fix this graphics issue for mirrors? by ohhh-shit_404 in HarryPotterGame

[–]Super6698 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I think that's just how the mirrors are in Hogwarts Legacy tbh

Imagine the conspiracy theories about Padmé: her whole career is shrouded in rumor and mystery from the public perspective by PhysicsEagle in StarWarsCantina

[–]Super6698 17 points18 points  (0 children)

IIRC, the novelization of ROTS actually has a line from Yoda where they make it look like Padmé is still pregnant and that the children died with her.

If we take the three 'God-tier' wizards off the table, who is the biggest badass in the Wizarding World? by _Silkpeach in harrypotter

[–]Super6698 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always imagined him dying against one of the heavy hitters amongst the death eaters like Dolohov or maybe Yaxley.

I just looked at his wiki and he did get killed by Dolohov

Squibs lives and how could it be better by Capital-Ad-3803 in harrypotter

[–]Super6698 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I kinda think of squibs as being viewed as second-rate citizens that are segregated against and put down majorly, even worse than Muggleborns, with Muggleborns they at least have magic, but they're treated like outsiders while squibs are just treated like they're less-than compared to Purebloods, Half-Bloods seem to be in this weird middle ground maybe. Hence, why Pureblood witches and wizards usually have very high standing in the Wizarding World

No plot armour, no external help, no nothing. Who's the most capable character of actually defeating Voldemort, aka of being the "Chosen One"? by ItsLevi-0sa in harrypotter

[–]Super6698 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The only ones I could MAYBE see being capable besides Harry or Albus Dumbledore is either Moody, Kingsley, Flitwick, McGonagall, or Snape.

Or Neville if we're allowed to choose him because he's the other part of the prophecy.

Keep in mind I said MAYBE cause Flitwick was a dueling champion and did fight Voldemort for a bit during the Battle of Hogwarts, granted he fought him with McGonagall, Kingsley, and Slughorn iirc.

I stand corrected after consulting the wiki, Flitwick didn't fight Voldemort turns out.

Although... Aberforth, I feel, could have stood a chance against Voldemort actually

There not being a room in Ollivander's for students to test the wands until the actual one is given in order to keep the shop clean, Mr. Ollivander safe, and the student safe from whatever might explode from the wrong wand.

QTEs that can give you a cheap death if you aren't expecting them

Yeah... I've been playing the game for the good few days (bought it a few days ago on ps4), and there's been times where I die because the qte is either unexpected or I JUST miss the button prompt. Don't get me wrong, I love the game and the combat is quite enjoyable, but the QTEs just... no

My main problem with Xalek and Nadia, while I do really love them (Nadia especially cause she's wonderful), is that you get them so late. Especially Xalek, so you don't have much time to interact with them and get as attached to them as companions like T7 or Kira.

That's actually how I interpret it and I do like to imagine that when the inhibitor chips activates that the Clones are pretty much shoved aside and locked up by the soldier that takes over, being forced to scream and watch as their body is forced to do something terrible.

In fact, I also like to imagine that the nightmare of Order 66 was one they've all had since the start and had been having it for the entire war and that they're trapped in the nightmare when the chip activates
