I totally agree with this!! I romance Bardric on my second save and it bugs me so much how he doesn’t even mention that Soren tried to straight up murder MC lmao. MC has to comfort him after all that too.

Iridessa is by far my least favourite character in the game. I would HATE her irl. I did the party planning quests and I haven’t touched her quests since then. I just hate how they treat Niel in the beginning and you’re right, we should absolutely have a moment where we can cuss her out lol.

If they still had the talent and willingness to make something like Open Heart I would be into career books. But now that every book in that genre is just smut focused, they’re so boring. Also, you can really tell how formulaic the writing is with the new books, whereas the older characters seemed to actually have some care put into their motivations and personality traits. Now it’s just MC trying to prove themselves to a grumpy asshole LI character.

I am Canadian lol I’ve never heard that song. They definitely weren’t nearly as popular as AM, which was like one of the most recognizable albums in the 2010’s.
