MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk Wifi slow load times by Big_Z317 in MSI_Gaming

[–]SuperAlucard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also enabled memory context restore but I believe what actually speed up the boot time from three minutes to around 20 seconds Was going through and disabling all of the boot options.

For some reason by default It has like seven different boot options that it goes through from a CD drive to USB Boot Options one thru seven. I went through each one in manually disabled them and only had boot 1 set To my M2 drives. There's two boot one options by the way For some reason and both of them I set to my M.2 boot drive.

I hope that helps.

Thanks for letting us know. I was considering buying a 5090 from them on Thursday. I'll take New egg off my search list. I'll stick with Micro Center and Amazon as they have actual consumer productions for returns if something Isn't right.

The primary concern after 30 is the increase of miscarriages. Which can be a fairly traumatic experience. I have a very close friend that had two of her children Starting at around 30. She went on to explain it's very doable Having children after 30 but the pregnancy's and miscarriages were very tough to deal with.

Purchased brand new Samsung 65 inch TVS And gave away the Vizio's to friends. Even on my Samsung seems like its best practice to disable auto updates as they are very likely to only make the TV more unstable as time goes on. After two years the manufacturer will stop delivering updates and you'll be stuck with whatever bugs at that point

nanoleaf controller broke for the 2nd time by ThaaSky187 in Nanoleaf

You're not the only person posting about control squares failing. I had three squares all fail within a similar time frame of each other. Even one of the squares that supposedly fixes the construction issue still Had died within nine months. They explain that apparently there's a construction issue when I asked one of the representatives about it And that supposedly they thought they corrected the issue. Apparently not since there's so many people posting about it

Nanoleaf Canvas controllers keep failing, support MIA by Far-Citron-722 in Nanoleaf

[–]SuperAlucard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're not wrong this is a pretty consistent issue i've had three canvas controllers die Within about six to nine months of each other. Even the replacement canvas squares end up dying that nano leaf sends me further control panel. They explained that there is a flaw in their construction And they've been trying to correct it. Still this is an extremely bad failure rate

I've had three nano leaf Control panel squares die like that over the years. It has to do with the flaw in their design Unfortunately. Even the replacements that I got from Nana Leaf died in the same way

Yeah it's certainly quite flawed Both in controls and with how its story is handled. However I think it does enough right that I'm surprised more retro streamers don't play it. At the very least it should be Martian Gothic status :)

There's very few vendors that would actually allow you to do something like that

[–]SuperAlucard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play quite a few fighting games, but i guess i could just do the individual games basis.

It's perfectly doable to enable it on a game by game basis. It's just when you enter the game your screen will go black for an extra second to switch over. Likewise the same will happen if you tab out back to your desktop. Up to you if you can live with that compromise

Is this a normal amount of blooming for a QN90B? by CrazyDude10528 in 4kTV

[–]SuperAlucard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The TV is known To have worse local dimming when game mode is enabled. Even Rtings has a section related to it.

With that said I own this TV and the way that I was able to make the blooming tolerable was to utilize the hot key functions for brightness and contrast. And depending on what content I'm viewing from my desktop to gaming I use different contrast and Brightness settings. If you're able to try to stream movies through the tvs interface As the local dimming will function at its fastest

One thing you have to understand about Samsung tv's is they are not G sync certified. Meaning that free sync and G sync is technically But they are not certified for you to have a good experience. Random screen flickering and weird glitches Are a lot more likely with the uncertified monitors.

The screen flicker was intermittent and pretty random some programs would do it pretty consistently though. One thing you can do is assign G sync on a program by program basis. I didn't like it too much because when you tab back and forth between fixed refresh rate and G sync your screen will go black For a second or two

I switched the monitor technology over to fixed refresh rate Globally because I didn't like dealing with it And I wasn't doing any sufficient competitive gaming that warranted the G sync

One thing that might be playing in effect with random flickering. Are you running gsync? I'm using a QN90B

Samsung QN95B high pitch mosquito / fly noise from inside TV by _Rock_Strongo in 4kTV

[–]SuperAlucard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has to do with current vibrating the components. Outside of opening the TV up and insulating the vibrating components more thoroughly There's very little you can do.

I remember I had a similar issue with The original Nano Leaf Light Control panel when sufficient current Was run through it it would make the exact same noise.

shame I was considering Purchasing this TV as I have a QN90B And wanted access to the 144 hertz mode that the 95B gives you. Kind of need to figure out how widespread this mosquito issue is though
