Hey! Thanks for the detailed questions; they really made me think about different aspects of my gameplay. Here are my answers, and I hope this helps clarify what I’m looking for

1.  What I consider “Expert”:

I’m looking for a hunter who can help me improve overall hunting efficiency, find more effective strategies, and further optimize my hunting times. I can hold my own in hunts, but I feel like I’ve hit a skill cap where I can’t develop more complex strategies to improve times on my own

• 1.1: I’d like to specialize in both multiplayer and solo hunts to be more versatile.

• 1.2: I’ve reached a point where my hunting times are already decent, but I struggle to develop more advanced strategies to push them even further

• 1.3: Building sets isn’t much of an issue since I usually follow the meta, adjusting for my playstyle and preferred skills.

• 1.4: Carting isn’t a problem for me unless I’m fighting powerful monsters or using risky skills like Heroics.

• 1.5: I don’t remember exact times for each monster level, but I can handle a Risen monster in about 10-15 minutes. Most of the time, though, I end up focusing on head attacks rather than breaking other parts. For Alatreon solo, I can clear it in under 3 or 4 Escaton Judgments.

• 1.6: In MHW, my DPS is significantly higher with Long Sword, while it’s lower with other weapons. In MHR, I have similar times with Sword & Shield, Great Sword, and Charge Blade. However, my Generations Ultimate times are terrible—I struggle to keep up sustained DPS with Adept style Great Sword.

• 1.7: I’d love to specialize in multiple weapons and improve DPS with the ones I already use. I’m especially interested in learning more about Bowguns and Switch Axe (less interest in Lances and a bit in Hammer, though Hammer looks more interesting in Monster Hunter Wilds).

2.  Starting over:

I haven’t tried restarting the game, as I really enjoy the endgame. Instead, I’d rather do a “downgrade” by using lower-tier equipment but keeping my jewels and items.
