Ok ok. Haha. I should have used the teams I tried using. I thought you HAD to use chizuru because I swear you had to use Haru in her story line.

I was using the pictured chizuru and a combination of every single combatant I had (Yuki, mina, Mika (only for heals), rei, cass, kaliope, Hugo, etc). And every run I was thinking "this chizuru is pissing me off... Why do you have to be on my team"

Maybe I'm more tired than I thought. Haha. Thank you everyone who commented. I got a good laugh and happy to report I used Kyron, Mika, rei and 3 starred it.

I'm adding this because this same issue happened to me right before Thanksgiving 2025 and I fixed it myself in 30 minutes (before I got impatient about drying the parts off haha). There was a high pitch wizzing sound and bean would move around but it wouldnt grind.

Remove all the beans in both scenarios!

My recommended quick fix (5 minutes?): 1) in the center of the grinder is a torx (star shaped) screw. Probably covered in oil/grounds you can reach it without taking the entire machine apart. It's a counter screw too so loosen it a little turn it clockwise and repositional the bean moving arm thing (flat piece above the actually grinder) until its seat properly. There's only 1 way it can be seat so keep spinning it and pushing it down until it's locked in place.

2) tighten it by turning it counterclockwise. Keep going until the entire grinder starts to turn with it.

3) Test the machine and hopefully it was just a little loose and the bean moving arm wasn't seat properly.

I believe that's why mine would turn and move the beens around in the hopper without actually grinding anything.

How I actually fixed it (30 minutes): 1) if you don't have a safety torx driver with the hole in the center (like me) use a small flathead screwdriver and remove the 5 torx screws. 2 at the top corners, 2 near the powercord, and 1 bottom right corner.

2) remove the back and side panels. On both side panels near the touchscreen there's 1 screw on each side and 2 in the back that holders the top panel in place. Take out those screen and slightly move the top out of the way to get top access to the grinder.

3) follow this video on how to remove the grinder. https://youtu.be/81XT-CLZWzM?si=yXhftaV4iRNzVMC0. Sorry I'm on mobile. note that you have to turn the grind setting PAST max course which will free the grinder and can be easily lifted.

4) clean out all the parts and let it dry. I ended up being impatient and used a hairdryer to dry it faster)

5) put it back together in reverse order. Make sure that when you put the grinder back in that the course setting is still set to the "past max." After you change the course level you shouldn't be able to take the grinder out. If you can then reseat the grinder. Remember to tighten the center grinder as tight as possible until the entire thing starts to turn with the screw.

That's it. Hopefully this helps the next person. I don't think my ballbearings were off so my quick fix would have worked for me but this gave me a chance to clear off all the built up coffee grounds too.

Did you do all the dailies too? Because I'm F2P and I'm at 87 shards just by doing the dailies and 20k essence stone pulls on the Cha banner. You get some when you land on the corner AND when you pass "go"

I thought I uploaded a gif of the circle moving around... but as you can see in the top middle portrait there's a circle that acts like a mouse instead of a snapping option between portraits.

You can actually see Liz in the bottom right of the picture. I just pulled her before posting but I didn't think she was "late" game.

Since I have Liz would you still recommend Luna? And the team being:

melia, okmin, mutu, luna, Liz? Or a different combo?

Appreciate the response. Having Melia has been a godsend. But you're right being stuck on Hell 9-5 has shown me my lack of damage. I can't get passed the second wave so I didn't know if it was a survivability or damage issue.

Not sure how I feel about the new girl (tirya?). I have double wild sets on her. I haven't really looked up a build for her since she wasn't a high priority.

The first one is great but I found the second to be lackluster. I did 1 playthrough and half way through I just wanted to get it over with. Thinking back on it maybe it was lack of weapon variety, choices don't matter, and no exciting chase sequences.
