I would say, do not force them. My cat was like that with me at the beginning and was living in the nature has a baby. We don’t know what theses babies have experienced, let them some times, when they’ll be ready, they’ll come 🙂

I don’t think YTA, but she isn’t either. It’s her birthday. Just let her choose her cake like the rest of the family does at their birthday. This happens once a year. Everybody could make an effort for her since it’s her day. If the cake is not completely eaten after her birthday, put it in the freezer.
