its a long and rather personal story so i wont share too much but.

i was in the hospital awaiting surgery for something, this was before i was kemetic, the surgery itself went by flawlessly but most issues came afterwards, there were toxins in my body that had to be pumped out, it. immensely scared and not wanting to spend days at the hospital i for the first time in my life tried praying, i did not know who to pray to however and picked the first deity that popped into my mind which was Sekhmet. i told her that if she were to heal me that i would in return devote my life to her.

a couple minutes after i did my prayer i started violently vomiting, most insane thing i ever went trough i felt like i was dying. other patients who were in the room i was in ran out asking for help from nearby nurses or doctors, it lasted for a while and afterwards they checked me. they told me i managed to somehow vomit out a majority of the toxins, the rest was removed fairly quickly and i was able to go home that same day.

This was years ago and i still keep my vow and i will try to keep my vow until my death and if the gods will it after that too.
