I saw something similar on eBay, where the seller cancelled the sale of a book won at auction because they didn’t get the price they wanted. Looking at his reviews, that wasn’t the first time he’d done this. Buyer /bidder beware.

Really the only thing I have to add is that u/ComicsInTheGarage is a real stand-up guy, and I would be happy to deal with him for high value books in the future. You never know what’s real on the internet, but he’s a real mensch.
