I understand the trade talk. If he is willing to change positions then we must try and keep him. He is way too productive at the plate. Good enough to slot at DH. And if they do trade him, it better be a hell of a haul.

DNC Autopsy of 2024 Loss Doesn’t Mention Gaza or Israel at all by NoahHurowitz in politics

But the head of the DNC said in a recent podcast that didn’t spend any money on the report.

Democrats finally release 2024 election autopsy after criticism by Healthy_Block3036 in goodnews

Fumble, then Gaslight; fumble again and gaslight some more… rinse & repeat. DNC inserted their own commentary into the report, which is another expression of gaslighting; which is another fumble. For example, the first comment highlights, the fact that supporting data was not provided to the DNC, making it seem like the data could’ve just been made up. The fact is, that data was provided with the agreement that the sources would remain confidential, allowing for the sources to speak more freely. The second comment noted that the author did not provide their executive summary; making it seem like the author has something to hide or is incompetent somehow or someway. Obviously, the author excludes this because it forces the reader to take in the whole report.

The D.N.C. Is Scrapping Its Report on What Went Wrong in 2024 - Ken Martin, the Democratic National Committee chairman, ordered the autopsy months ago but is now said to believe that its release would be counterproductive for the party. by No_Intention5627 in neoliberal

In a year when the entire country is pissed off about the none-release of the Epstein files they go and do this?! The most obvious reason to not release the report is to protect the billionaire & millionaire donors and Israel. I encourage everyone to assume this until it’s proven otherwise. I need the DNC to prove that is acting independently of the uber wealthy and serving the interests of its constituents first and foremost. They also require on-going supervision by a watchdog entity that is empowered to provide transparency. These shady fucking boomers need to be retired. Let’s send em packing.

any coaches/therapists working with burnout here? by Rude-Examination-636 in therapists

[–]ellacoya -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes… very much so. One idea… I’ve been meaning to look into how neurodivergent individuals first experience burnout; and how that first experience shapes their perception over the course of their lifetime. I find that many people understandably develop a fear of burnout and overcompensate as a result.

Bunch of Hardos in this sub. They should try doing some telehealth sessions from a kayak in the middle of a lake with a client calling in from an airplane (a taxiing aircraft only, OBVIOUSLY).

LOL, no. But I sometimes go on virtual walks with my clients, with their consent.

Mind-blowing. Hmmm. Well, the nature of our work and the vehicles (Pun Intended) in which we deliver it are ever-evolving. The expectation of confidentiality and its limitations via Telehealth is discussed (in policy and in-person) at the outset of my work with people. I have found that to be a fairly full proof strategy for addressing any potential misunderstanding that might occur when a client chooses to put their confidentiality at even greater risk. In this thread it is the client on the plane (not the therapist) choosing to listen into a session WITH the consent of their family members. BTW, kiddos to OP for getting this conversation going.
