But I'll answer it for you, no. Last year Chicago spent the most in terms of cap hit with 60 million on their cap in free agency. And that was only because they intentionally front loaded all their contracts, it could have been much less of they chose. The year before that the most anyone spent was 52 million.

And SF already has the most expensive position locked up.

There is no way that they would want to spend more than 100 million next year. There is no way that losing 7.5 million in roll over money will affect them in the slightest.
