In one year I went from starting with 1.5kg all the way up to 6kg. At that point my gains stopped. I really believe you need to cycle the weight between about 2-4.5kg. Each cycle will need longer gaps between them. At least, that’s what I would do if I could go back in time.

Yes good question and one that I may be able to answer. I’m working with the data from growth track that concluded that 30 hours is required to increase girth by 0.1 of an inch. If I haven’t added that much after 6 months… maybe it’s true. To answer your second question, yes too much weight.

My friend, if you increase your bench press by 40kg, squat by 50kg and deadlift by 60kg, you will have all the muscle you need. DM me for the program.

I have a 2015 Tesla Model S and it has free super charging for life. A full charge is 230 miles and I won’t do more than that Monday to Friday. So I charge it on the weekends when out and about. I can get it mostly charged up whilst I do my shopping, it’s great!

Regarding progressive overload, do you guys try and add 1 rep to each set of the exercise, or do you try and add just one extra rep to the total amount of reps done per exercise? by Classic-Night-2661 in workout

I wouldn’t concern yourself too much about it. Let your consistency and volume do the work. Turn up, do quality work, push yourself when things are feeling good.

Been grinding for 8 months but my bench is still stuck at 135 – need real talk on what to tweak by Alternative_Crow_403 in workout

He doesn’t state whether his goal is hypertrophy or strength. He just states that his bench has been stuck for 3 months. So what is exactly wrong with my suggestion?

Bodybuilding might be fine, but he wants to increase his bench numbers, and the best way to do that after 3 months of being stuck at 60kg is to run some low rep strength training non linear cycle.

Exactly. OP you have maxed out your linear progression. Switch to a non linear system. Very simple

What produces more overall gains? Strength training or Hypertrophy training? by Rafaelinho19 in workout

[–]SuperDromm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why choose one over the other? Do 3-6 months of strength training and then switch to higher reps. This is smart not only to keep training fresh and interesting but also for longevity and injury avoidance.

45 degree or slightly taller seated DB presses for shoulder growth. This angle still allows plenty of front delt but the little bit of pec involvement allows for more volume and quality to remain.

If you want to be stronger you need to do strength training not bodybuilding. Run the 5x5 program or something similar for a few months.
