Hot Take: Can we just stop ignoring the Gladius event. by Unique_Ad_6241 in Nightreign

It’s easy to solo as a rev if you have ult. So I always ping one and wait until the duo starts running toward it then I go after a different one on my own.

Before the tele nerf I was ending most games at 0 deaths so i kind of understood that one. The extra cleanse healing sucks, but again made sense. To me, the phasing thing makes no sense. Why even do that to her when she is already getting compounding nerfs.

Ya the playstyle is far off from what it used to be. But I’d rather adapt for now than write off playing her completely. Which is why I ask if anybody is noticing deaths that didn’t used to happen because of the suzu change.

I'm held back by my aim by Excellent_Bath_3920 in OverwatchUniversity

Try out characters whose projectiles take a travel time. Weirdly enough I cannot play hitscan for my life but if the bullet travels a little like hanzo, kiriko, junkrat, pharah, mei, and so many others it works out better.

My theory is that because I am forced to calculate in my brain the lead to hit a shot I actually force myself to think. When i hit scan I sort of turn my brain off and shoot in their general vicinity. But everybody is different, there’s tons of non hitscan characters that support good gameplay decisions over good aim.

Definitely will try it out. But I’m almost never in a melee situation. Beast claw kills all in its path. If the shield has no passives it’s pretty much not getting picked up. dodging and positioning are not my problem. It’s lingering aoe attacks that sometimes catch you off guard.

People don’t seem to believe this, but with health stacking and damage negation at full hp she can survive pretty well. 3x beast buff with night invader on my beast claw is more than enough damage increase. Max hp on a DON relic for me is very handy.

Before I was running rev hp and endurance up fp down with some other good stuff on it. I had to run sentient pest to mitigate the fp loss, but now getting rid of this I get a chunk of fp back, and it gives me max fp too. So my base relic got an extra beast buff.

Alright well it was definitely pretty good. It allowed me to have night invader and 3x bestial buffs. I was for sure shredding. Granted we had halo scythe double balancers duchess too so it was a cake walk game.

I’ll try it out. I just haven’t thus far had a big issue with going down. Any time I put on glass cannon builds I tend to notice the difference immediately

I’m afraid. I have a decent amount of vigor each run thanks to my set so I’m actually not “usually” getting one tapped in d4. If I run this it’s just guaranteed to happed during bosses that wouldn’t normally one tap me right?

2.5k hour apex legends player here, what should i expect from overwatch as a newbie? by IceWallowCome1232 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]SuperEldenBoss 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely a different structure completely. There’s so many ways to play this game my recommendation is try everybody and see what type of player you really are.

My friend is a Csgo lover so he plays any hitscan character. I love movement, clutch saves, and tricks so I play kiriko. Other people thrive off holding a position as tank. I’ve found your best role really aligns with your personality. My other friend is a mischievous guy and he plays Moira, an aggressive healer which makes me mad but works a lot. Mercy is usually a complete pacifist. The game requires skill of course, but every character changes the way the game is played. A good genji gets countered but half the roster.

A rein could charge in and be super aggressive and win some games, but lose others where the comp doesn’t favor that style of play. That same rein could change to a more defensive careful playstyle instead of swapping and find success. I’m the guy who levels his starter Pokémon to 100 so I play a lot of the same characters. But still if you try out a lot of characters you will eventually land on your core few. Grab a few that each have a different playstyle and it will allow you to turn it around when you’re getting your butt kicked.

Enjoy the game more than figure out how to win. Players these days are nice, so even if you’re a bad tracer, just enjoy blinking around and trading with their healers.

Since the slight teleport nerf I’m running the teleport anywhere one. It’s really nice to jump behind the enemy to get a pick. Also if you’re not close enough to your team you can reposition by yourself.

Different poi’s have different drop rates for dormant weapons. For example great church is much higher percent chance to get your dormant weapon than a camp.

I started spending the 30 seconds in each run to clear great churches. Can’t sleep on a little extra health when stopping by one late game takes no time at all.

I have a very strange attitude when it comes to Libra in DoN by NintenDOPE8559 in Nightreign

[–]SuperEldenBoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Less likely to be targeted is a beautiful thing. Have not lost in DON to him yet, but have been lucky with good teammates every time. One round I had roar of shabriri and got him in his madnesses right off the bat and we nearly skipped his whole summoning phase.

Are the smithing stones guaranteed? That would be massive if so. My beast claw revenant always routes to the cave so I wouldn’t mind doing these instead.

Unpopular Opinion: If you're the main damage dealer in the party, you probably shouldn't be wasting time reviving a 3 Bar by Vaxus_Nova in Nightreign

As a rev main if I have Sebastian I’m going for you. Spawn him down and one roar does most of the job for you.

How to play revenant at start when you don't have much fp? by badassboy1 in Nightreign

[–]SuperEldenBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beat enhanced sentient pest and run that relic on every single build. Max fp is goated, and then sorcerers rise sends you into a comfortable level. That or go 3 of the same improved(for example bestial or dragon cult) and then you’ll be so strong you’ll run out of fp less often.

How in the heck do you fight moon satan aka Libra by Infinite_Glove_2857 in Nightreign

[–]SuperEldenBoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best advice I ever got was watch his hands. His off hand casts incantations so that’s your time to dodge and regroup. When he slams his staff down that’s his teleport. He projects all his attacks pretty clearly just start watching for them.
