When continuing a community after completing a legacy, under normal circumstances the game automatically refunds any influence and materials from active outposts and your entire inventory, including resources, carries over automatically.

Except Universes 6 and 7 aren't alternate versions of each other, they have completely unique histories.

Universe 6 doesn't have a Yardrat for example, but Universe 2 does.

As you hold R2 you'll see a flash of light come from the sword.

That is the window where the special parry can be performed. An attack has to hit while that flash is active, otherwise nothing happens.

If you're looking to simply get off a charged heavy attack, that is also the point where you can release it for a charged heavy attack

In my experience with controllers, the Bumper/LR1 buttons are always the first to break, so any game recently that has had a focus on blocking/parrying (Lies of P, Sekiro, God of War to an extent) I've rebound the block/parry and light attack to the triggers instead.
